Default Do nutes higher pH?

do nutrients higher ph? i checked my water and it says its at 7.0 and i added ph down a few times and it didnt go down. could the nutrients have highered the ph or could my ph down not be working?

well normally lowers a fertilizer your pH... did you calibrate your meter lately? if not do so!

pH the water to your desired level, then add the nutes.

Earth Juice brand ferts will almost always drop the pH initially. Silicate-based products often raise pH. Some folks bubble their nutes for 24 hours to stabilize em/monitor what they will do before adding em into their res.

So many combos are possible that you just have to tweek it/play with it until you find that sweet spot. If you can't tame the beast, you will want to add nutes in and wait/take readings after each addition until you find the component in your mix that's making the pH rise.
