Hey Iceicebaby, when to start with carbo,When the flowering bud form.Use it up to the last two weeks of flowering.Dont put molasses in your res,you wont like it,it will make every thing gummy and plug up your air stones. In hydro use sweet or carboload they are refined sugars and are buffered for hydro. What nutr are you using? Peace

Oh Contra My Hobo friend, You can use Molasses in hydro. I always have! However I make a watered down solution. Take a cup or 2 of molasses and add it to one gallon of boiling water. Then I add 2 cups of said solution to my 100 gallon tanks. Never ever had a problem. I have used this method with Hydro sprayers and had no clogs.

Try it you'll like it Mikey!

it's cane sugar and, being water soluable, it's more appropriate for hydro systems. i know where there is quite an extensive article on it on another forum. they're down for maintenance now but i'll put it up when i can.

btw, i've heard that if you dilute your molasses first, you can use it in hydro as well.
