Default Canna Nutes good or bad?

I have used GH for the last year and half. I have been getting tired of flushing every week. Been researching Canna. I am pretty sold on them being a great product. I am going to go with there whole line of Aqua series nutes with there rizotonic, PK 13/14, and the Canna boost. Im going to give em Hydrozyme, Sweet, Snow storm, gravity. And some Pro Tekt from dyna grow. Last couple of weeks Flora Nectar and banna manna.

With that said does anyone have anything good or bad to say about Canna? And what do you guys think about what I plan on giving my plants on this next run.

Thanks for everyones input.

Lumix its funny you sent me to that theard. I just got done reading that one looking for any info I could find on Canna. It did not look like anyone had anything to say about Canna. Do you know of anyone in this forum that is using there products?

Is the PK 9/18 supposed to be better?

My hydro store guy swears by Canna. He says it's the best he's ever used. But, I'm a soil grower.

Hey If you talk to iso2Bwell he uses them and likes them too.I heard that they are good nutr, but I haven try them.I like you use the 3-part GH.Queston why do you flush every week. What system are you running?I do flood and drain and use GH 3-part and some sweet and cal-mag when needed.I dont use all of what they say to use for this and that.Sometimes I flush the res at tran to 12/12 and flush at harvest.I use flora kleen when flushing and I flush for two weeks. In my opinon to many additives and something go's wrong you more to look at to fix it.Keep it simple and add them when the plants need them is what I do. Peace

I have been told for a long time that with GH espeacily the 3 part that it has high salt content and that it will give the plants nut lock out. Every week your supposed to run it in your system untill the PPM's stop rising and then you go back to your regular nutes for that time periord. In the begining I did not flush like this. When I started doing I saw good improvements.

You flush for two weeks? I have heard of a lot guys doing that. I only flush for a week. And keep the carbs in adding even a little extra in the in. Giving them those carbs in the end they really love. When I start the flush I use the flora kleen for a couple hours then drain the system and go straight water and carbs for the rest of the flush.

Do you use the flora kleen for the whole two weeks through your flush?

Not a fan of canna. They charge a lot, for the exact same building blocks every other nutrient line can offer.

FWIW, I've used the Canna nutes for about 2 years in my DWC and E/F grows. Easy to mix - just blend equal parts of both A & B (either Aqua Vega (vegging) or Aqua Flores (flowering) and PH it out and yer good to go.

I like to check the PH for the first day or so, but generally with a 5gal. DWC bucket you can go about 8 days and then you'll notice the PH start to fluxuate a bit, so, it's time to change out to fresh nutes.

I believe there are other quality nutes too, like the GH 3 part that Toke uses. Real consistent in performance, and stable in the PH dept. I'll take the Canna nutes though, as I know how they perform, and why take chances when ya don't have to?..

ISO your da man. I have to say that I have nothing bad to say about the GH 3 part system. It has been the backbone of my entire success with my short growing expeirence. I was thinking that Ive only been growing a year or so, but its probablly closer to 2 years. I haved had great results up untill recently using nothing but GH 3 part. And I have to say that I was running them fairly weak. I like to think that my peers are big fans of my results. My current grow has some stuff in it. Ive been running GH 3 part super hot. Combined with Rizotonic, Hygrozym,ProTekt,PK13/14,Canna Boost,Sweet, and Gravity. And for the last 2 weeks Im also going to add in FloraNectar Pineaple Rush, and Banna Manna. Then in flush run the Canna Boost, Sweet, FloraNectar, And Banna Manna. Anyways I believe that I am seeing some of the best results of my career with my current situation. And its hard to say what is producing the great results. It could be the whole combanation of things or maybe it just likes the super hot GH. Not sure. But it makes me very open minded to trying to find the super cocktail!!

Been researching Canna as my replacement and I think Im sold. Ive been told that you dont need to flush weekly or ever with there nutes. I dont care for doing the weekly flushing treatment with GH. What is your flushing routine. I was told to just drain em once a week and start fresh. Would you agree with that?

One last question would you say to achieve the guickest must effecient growth would come from the Ebb N Gro or 5 gallon bucket DWC? Or Ebb N Gro with 5 gallon buckets?
