Interesting video. Oddly, that is the same design set-up I used for my aero-cloner (that I had no luck with...my fault). Those small netpots aren't going to old any hogs, but they'll do for small SOG's.

always build you're system with the smallest pots you can buy as you fit more in the lid this way. Seeing as the roots are contained in the chamber the size of the makes no difference. ideally have you're sprinklers at multiple levels to ensure even coverage.

gonna experiment with germinating seeds without using any medium apart from clay pebbles. I'd like to eliminate using these as well as it cuts down on cost and clutter. BUt how do i germnate seeds wihtout medium using netting or something whilst still blocking light from the chamber? i use jiffy cubes as they are good for enviroment but they still cost. could i use gravel instead of pebbles as seeds dont sit well in pebbles

You can start the unit with clones(& water) and add nutrients slowly after the roots start to grow. There is enough room to grow 5 large plants in each container. Just leave the plugs in the holes you are not using. You can even grow one HUGE plant if you want.
