I have a bottle of Botanicare Sweet. I was told that its difficult for the roots to take in sugars and that its better to spray the buds with Botanicare Sweet for faster intake and better results. My questions is, are you suppose to cut the Botanicare Sweet when its time to flush or can you continue adding Botanicare Sweet till harvest? Or how long can you continue to spray the buds? Anyone know? This is for a soil grow by the way. Thanks

Do you use the Botanicare Sweet till harvest or when do you cut it out?

I just add it to my nute mix. I used it on my RDWC/Drip system and also a few potted soil plants.

With the hydro system I just kept my nute mix at max ppm until I was ready to harvest. I then used Clearex to flush them and filled the rez with plain RO water for a few days before I cut em down.

With the soil I don’t think I flushed or anything special. I just put in my nute mix all the way to harvest. But that’s just me; keep in mind its mostly just maple syrup in this stuff, I don’t think you really need to flush sugar.

I stop feeding 2 weeks before harvest. They get nothing but water till then.

my bottle of Sweet says it contains magnesium and sulfur. are these sugars as well?

I just checked the mail...for some reason I received a second one today...I only sent one email but got two samples =)

Anyone else get two?

I think really they are all the same - Sugar Daddy / Flora Nectar / and Sweet and all the others...

They are all for plant carbs and really mainly molasses style derivative...

but as someone else said on here on this thread but I forgot atm

for hydro these items are GREAT but if we are not careful it will create buildup and with higher res temps the sugar and water will become prone to bacterias and algae...

Had to learn that one the hard way as well... like my stubborn butt has to learn most things.. lol why can't I just listen... I just did and probably getting a free sample of 'SWEET' now.. .lmao
