OK, first off I found this great forum back in May, but for security reasones rarely visit let alone start threads or make replies cause I'm 2. Dont get me wrong, I would love 2 contribute every day on this great site, & was planning on writing the definitive DIY Bubbleponic grow journal/sticky as my gift to GP. & I truly mean definitive, step by step, day by day, germ-cure/ all the basics a newbie like me would need in 1 journal, but now I'm ready 2 jump out the window....... PLEASE, somebody talk me off the ledge!!!!!!!!

This is my 1st grow EVER & yes its hyrdo-dwc/bubbleponic.

Ph=5.9-6.1 rez temp=70-77(mostly 72) PPM 950 plant is 3 1/2ft tall
Today is start of week 9 & I began flowering on 8/4 exactly 2 weeks ago....& not a single white hair 2 be found. Nothing Is this normal? Not only that, but today when opening the rez, 1 of the fan leaves on the lowest branch BROKE OFF 1/2 up its stem Yup, just broke in 1/2, wtf??
She seems in fine health & grows around 1 1/2 in. per day. Please help, I'm breaking security protocal because alot of sick/poor friends are counting on this grow. Somebody talk me off the ledge, thx-1tru1

TAKE IT EASY BUD WE CAN WORK THROW THIS, I HEAR YA ABOUT SECURITY BUT IF IT'S AT ALL POSSIBLE POST A PIC TO HELP US OUT. NOW IN MY EXPERIENCE WITH HYDRO/DWC/BUBBLERS THE PLANTS GROW SUPER FAST AND WHEN I TRIGGER THEM IT TAKES UP TO 3 WEEKS DEPENDING ON THE STRAIN TO START FLOWERING. YOUR PLANTS WILL PROBABLY START TO FLOWER ANY DAY NOW, SO JUST REALAXE AND SMOKE A BOWL. ALSO YOUR REZ COULD BE A BIT LOWER IF POSSIBLE, LIKE MAYBE AROUND 65F. I ADD A COUPLE FROZEN WATER BOTTLES TO THE REZ TWICE A DAY AND IT WORKS GREAT. WHAT BRAND OF NUTE'S ARE YOU USEING AND HAVE YOU CUT BACK ON THE NITROGEN. GOOD LUCK AND ASK MORE QUESTIONS.

If you are 100% sure your running 12/12 with no light whatsoever in the dark period i wouldn't panic yet. Thats a long bloom strain and i wouldn't be suprised if it needs a little extra time to sexually mature before it shows sex. but double check your timers and your grow space for any light during the dark period just for piece of mind.

What more can you do?

Yeah.. Agreed. My GreenHouse Strawberry Haze was a little better than two weeks before it started to really show sex if I recall correctly.

Thx Chunk. Ya, I use the frozen bottles 2 daily. When I get home from work, the rez is like 76-77 so in goes the bottle. I thought 65 was 2 cold & to shoot 4 like 68-72??? Mostly the rez is like 71-72. I use Technaflora's "recipe for success". The 1st week I still added alittle Grow to the flowering "mix", but @ last rez change(wk 2) it was strictly Bloom w/ their Awesome Blossoms, SugarDaddy & I use R/O so I always add their MagiCal. Only changes I've noticed since flowering regime are the roots became "dirty" looking due to the AB & SD & ThriveAlive, but @ 1st I was freaking over that 2, cause untill then the roots were sparkling white. Any idea why a leaf on a branch would just snap in 2 1/2 way up its stalk???

Thx P@ssw0rd; Ya I've checked the timers & I think its running right. I run my lights @ night & they dont turn off till around 3:20am, so if the "pin" is offset by 15min I'm not 100% sure, but can 5-15min really screw things up? Guess I'll just slide the pin up so its like 12hr15min dark & 11+ light. My cab is in a room w/ only 1 window which I "sealed" w/ blk&white, but the window frame is warped & w/ heavy winds the blk&wht bubbles & I've noticed some minimal ambient leak on the opposite wall from the cab. I mean I still cant see my hand infront of my face & the lady is in a 2x4x6 bifold cab so if plants can grow under the moon & stars, I dont believe this occasional leak can even penetrate the cracks of the bifold doors. Like I said, I cant see my hand infront of my face unless I aim 4 the small leak & then I can barley make it out. Guess I'll just sweat it out 4 another week before I jump

Relax,like p@ssword said,sometimes it take some strains longer to show sex.It has to mature first.I have a mango strain that takes 12 to 14 weeks to flower and a master kush x skunk 1# it takes 12 weeks to flower and it takes 3 to 4 weeks to show sex.Hang in there it will show soon.Just one fan leaf that broke off, dont worry.Do have a fan blowing around them?Peace

Thx Toke. I'm sure you dont remember me, but back in May you replied 2 my 1st & only thread & offered 2 help me build my Bubbleponinc system. You also took the time 2 answere a few pm, very cool Ya, I got a small fan in the cab blowing indirectly on the girl. Any idea why the leaf would just snap in 1/2, 1/2 way up the stem? The leaf was perfectly healthy/green

The plants using nitrogen and it's not getting as much as it was, you are feeling her the bloom nutr it has very little if any in it.If you got a pix I could see the whole plant. How much awesome blossoms you using?Use about 1/2 of what they say.Is the light penetrating down to where the leaf fall off?I wouldnt brother about it. Peace

I run a T5 HO 2ft 4bulb horz. @ the same height as the rez so the lower branches do get light. My main light is a 150hps mini sys. I also hang 48watt floro's on each side. I screwed up & forgot 2 only use 1/2 strength on the AwesomeBlossom. Will this screw her up?

No it wont.Add the awesomeBlossom after you start to see that the bud is forming add the Awesome blossoms in at 1/2 and go up from there as the plants buds start growing.You can get a recipe for there nutr at www.technaflora.com.I started out in hydro with there nutr.You dont start to add awesome in to the mix till the 3rd or 4th week or once the flowers are well established,add awesome blossoms.Wait till the flowers are showing and growing.I know it's hard you want them to grow right now.I know I did.I do remeber you too.So how you been.Get a pix up they are safe here.Peace

Ya, I forgot I saw on some hyrostores review of AssomeBlossom that you can wait till you actually see flowers or budding 2 add it Thanks 4 the link, but I had already checked it out awhile back. When I started 12/12 I decided 2 buy their Starter Kit which besides the bloom I needed, includes sample sizes of all their products plus a mixing chart. Ofcourse they dont tell ya you can wait till actual flowering 2 add the AssomeBlossom I lent my only camera 2 vacationing friends so I cant post pics till this weekend I will asap though as I need your & everyone else's opinion on what she looks like. I'm concerned about the leaf that snapped tonite. I pinched the stem where it broke, but now I'm worried about infection

I have answered your question in another thread, but hey I will say it again, do not be impatient. You will start seeing sex in about 15 days in 12/12 and (if she is a lady) you will see pistils
