as long as it isnt too high of a percentage of it mixed in it shouldent bother them (25-30% should be cool)

they dont much like chemical ferts (i should listen more to em probably)

And depending on the amount of lime used ph could give them a bit of an issue, some worms can be finicky with that, though red wigglers should be pretty tolerant to it (id not reccomend nightcrawlers of any variety unless someone uses 3-5 gallon soil containers, as someone said already they live deeper).

I do so think that I would cry. Or scream, not really sure which would happen, but that would be gross.

I never had any escaping worms. But, I don't think I had a ton of them, either.

I'm not sure how I got mine. They were like really small earthworms. We found them transplanting and made sure all the girls had some.

there are worm farmers who specilize in compost worms and such. there is a website of one such farm located in PA.
Buy Red Wigglers Worms : Red Wiggler Composting Worms : Red Wiggler Worm Composting : Red Wiggler Worms or Eisenia Foetida : Can O Worms Online : Uncle Jims Worm Farm : Composting Worms for Sale : Buy Composting Worms : Red Wiggler Worm Composting

500 worms for $25...granted thats a lot of worms but for a compost not too bad. if only need a couple then a bait shop or a pet store even
