I bought a 20 lb bag of Earthgro & a 8 Quart bag of Miracle Grow moisture controlled that feeds plants up to 3 months.. I want to know what ratio % I should mix my soil with 1-0-0 worm castings and 0.3 - 12 - 0.2 bat guano? I'm working on my 1st CFL 3.5x3.5x7.5 Closet grow right now. This will be my 1st grow ever

Not sure what Earthgro product you have, but in my opinion I wouldn't let that MiracleGro anywhere near my plants..!
Bat guano is great stuff in small quantities, but it can really fry a plant due to the high nitrogen. Use all the earthworm castings you wish...great stuff for the soil, but very little guano, if any.
Do you have any perlite? If the Earthgro is pure soil (no added ferts) then I would use use 60% soil, 40% perlite and add in plenty of worm castings. I would leave the guano out, especially since it's your first grow.
Save the Miraclegro from some outdoor garden plants or flowers...just keep it away from your MJ.
Others opinions may vary...

Damn i got 5 seedlings in a Earthgro topsoil and Miracle grow mix..Its just some bag seeds.. I dont know where to find perlite tho.. but the earthgro i got looks like sandy dirt
You wont need much perlite if your mix is sandy. you can used crushed rock too. Your plants will grow fast with the mg, until the problems set in a month down the road. mg is strong stuff. and those lil gnats flying around your room, their comin from the mg too. As for the guano i'd mix it up with your soil and let it sit for a month, give it time to break down. And making compost tea out of your castings might be the way to go.

Great advice. I would also avoid putting any nutes in the mix and would instead, read up on how to properly brew a compost tea from my guano and castings.
In short, you don't want to put things in the mix that lessen or take away the CONTROL you have as a grower...especially indoors. All of those little bits of fert will add up...and if there's a buncha stuff in there and you have a problem there's NO WAY to flush your medium because getting things wet will only release MORE fertilizer as it is all timed-release kinda stuff.
and that brings up the "3 months'. Never tried MG with nutes...but it sees to me if the nitrogen kept coming for 3 months you'd have a hard time getting solid bud or winding the plants down at the finish.
TylerX....you may be OK...but iif your little ones sprout and jump...and then sit there...the mix is TOO HOT. Too much fert will stunt a seedling before it toasts it on most occasions...and you are better off with no nutes than too many at such an early stage in development.
slow and steady, kids.....just like life itself.

I do us miricle grow with high nit. right after my clones root. they usually begin to yellow abit while waiting to root. so the soil keeps me from having to feed the little buggers. Has worked for me so far. but its a small amount as they are only in dixie cups for about 3-4 weeks. Then Fox Farm for me.
