I am aware that ale has a positive effect on soil and the ph level is around 4??

My question is what noticeable effect does the ale show and if I add a tablespoon or so to tap water that reads generally 8 will this lower the PH without a negative reaction from the soil from regular watering?

Yes I was cautious to try something before knowing of the possible effects.

I suppose I could research more of this online. I saw elsewhere a grower feed their marijuana plants pale ale and seemed very enthusiastic about the reaction.

try it out and let us know. tell us the pros and cons too. seems like an easy method
