| Ok so Im about to venture into this world of organics. I live in a condo type dwelling and I plan to mix my soil in a 40+ gallon plastic garbage can. The can will stay in the grow room always. Since its staying inside, Id like to stay away from growing mold, or at least limit releasing it where it can harm humans, cat or plants. My mix at this point will be hyponex , perlite, bat guano, beneficial nematodes (for fungus gnat larvae control) and worm castings. Should I leave the lid for the can on all the way? partly open? or closed firmly?

| Yes. Leave it open for a while. Later you can close it or punch a few holes in the lid. Let it dry out completely. Any moisture that you have in the mix will invite mold to start growing.
