OK Let's See, Sorry Peep's Haven't Been Answering Your Question's.
Dirt Farming Isn't My Thing Anymore, But Just Looking At The Second Pic., They Look Over Watered. I Have Never Used The Grow Bag's, But I Take It That They Have No Drain Hole In The Bottom?, If This Is The Case, I Hope Your Root's Aren't Sitting In Too Damp Of Soil & Developing Root Rot?
I'm Sure Some Dirt Farmer's Will Come Help You Out In A Hole Minute.
Cheers`;`Hatch`;` |

Hello Lit..
lotsa views but no comments..so I'll chime in....
Light and light intensity is key for fast/lush growth. For the amount of light you are giving them I think they look very good for 5 weeks old.
FYI...Foxfarm Grow Big is not an organic nutrient. It is a chemical salt N-P-K formula. Foxfarm Big Bloom is their only organic offering.
What happened to the lower growth on your plants? Did you trim it off or did it die on it's own and need to be removed?? The leaves, especially the BIG fan leaves..are the powerhouse for the plant and should be left alone unless they die on their own (IMO). This is especially important on LOW LIGHT conditions..such as CFL's (again, IMO)
Temperatures are also key. What temp is your space "lights on"?
good luck

I'm thinking you might wanna stake your girls and get a fan to circulate air so the stems get some movement (weed exercise) and strengthen up.
It looks like they stretched too.?. I would try to LST them a little to make up slightly for the stretch.
I also agree with Hatch and BTDT have to say

Repot those girls burying the stem about 1 inch from the top. Get your light source closer so they don't stretch. There also should be a circulating fan insided.

Rep Power: 201 | | Room in this kitchen for another cook?... I suggest you get a moisture meter, it will help you identify how long between feedings. You can download the Fox Farm grow schedule from their website, I've used it as my basic schedule indoors and outdoors and it's works. I tweak my own but, that's from seeing the results. Good luck. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Zigzagman For This Useful Post:

Sorry Litmy, been busy putting out flaming fires....and other things.
All the above members have stated what I would advise.
I also would like to know the temp in there. What kind of light is that?
Peace

Hey thanks everybody in your interest and for you help!
The three pound grow bags do have holes for drainage on the bottom. The guy at the hydroponic store sold them to me and he said they would work great, but I moved them to early. I believe I stumped the growth by transplanting them so soon and not prewatering the soil before transplanting. The bottom fan leaves seem to be fine. No discoloration at all. The temparuture is 73.9 and it's at 23% humidity.
Guys this is what I've been seeing in the past few days. Since I purchased this new 130 watt bench light that uses two 65 watt bulb 6500k the lower fan leaves are really starting to grow and I also think I was over watering like so many people said. So I changed my schedule feeding and they really seem like they are perking up. What does LST stand for? I also put a survival blanket as my mylar background. This might help some people as a cheap and effective method of reflecting light. $7 at a sport store or local drug store or first aid kits.
Be Easy

LST stands for Low Stress Training, a way to make the plants grow horizontally, and therefore make more efficiant use of the light and allowing the side buds to develope as well, into bud sites. Look in my signature for a link to this thread. Read it all and you will learn a lot. many members have contributed to this thread.

Rep Power: 201 | | Sounding good Litmy, are you sure you have 23% H., that's really low, way to low for young plants, get it up some how. Otherwise, start studying up on LST'ing. Peace | | The Following User Says Thank You to Zigzagman For This Useful Post:

Are Your Clone's In A Bubbler Cloner, Or In Soil?
If They Are In A Bubbler, If The Condition's Are Not Perfect, It Can Take Up To 14 Or Better Day's To See Any Signs Of Rooting.
If They Are In Soil, It Can Take Up To 21 day's Or More To See Any Signs.
If They Are Still Alive, That Is A Good Sign, Just Give Them Time.

Make sure they are not too hot or too cold. What are you watering them with? How are you rooting them? Never use hydrogen peroxide on clones, they will never root.

How warm? They do need a bit of light, not much but a bit. And you must keep them covered to keep the moisture in.
