I was wondering if i could use the water from my dehumidifier so i ph'd it. and it was 5.7. And my tap water is 7.5 so i just mix the 2 together and get it to 6.5... the acidity of the dehumidified water surprised me.

5.7 is pretty neutral. I use it all the time too, when I have it running. Just watch your plants as when using distilled, reverse osmosis or dehumidifier water, there is no calcium or magniesium in it so quite often your plants will need cal/mag as a supplement to rectify this.
Good luck.

I use a 50/50 mix of "distilled" and "filtered" (Pur home filter) and consistently have a pH between 6.0 and 6.2

Gee, I've been running the water from the dehumidifiers right down the drain. I was concerned about ridding the room of any excess odor and never thought about reusing it. Thanks for the info.

High all...
I have thought about this for sometime but each time I go looking, someone mentions 'copper coils' and the negative affect it might have on the nute balance and dropped the idea. Thoughts?
How long you been using it, Liberty?
As my A/C runoff comes in at 4.8ish, I might still have to use phup! LOL!
I'm going to mix a gallon of each and see what the ph comes in at.. I dump about 3 gallons a day of that stuff.. if I could use it that would be gr8.
EDIT: Ok I mixed 1/2 gal of run off (30ppm/4.0ph) with: 1/2 gal of tap (210/6.9) ph=5.3ish, add nutes,
I'd have to use cups of phup, NG. then with 1/2 gal of RO (10ppm/7.1) worse..
