OK i read on some site or other that chicken sh*t is good for the plants.
One of my customers keeps chickens.I was working at her house today and when she went out this morning i got a bucket out of my van and went and got some.
I didnt get a lot coz a fox has been killing her chickens over the last couple of months so she s only got two left.
What do i do with it ? do i just mix it in with the soil ? or do i mix it with something else ??? thanks dave

Manure should be composted before being used as a fert.

my uncle owns a chicken farm and if you can get it the wood shavings they keep on the floor work great but as ando said IT IS RICH, i mix a handful at MOST in my five gallon buckets.

i swear by it.
it has to be dried though, or it is considered hot and will kill yor plants outright.

search this forum for manure, we have ample info right here on various manures and their compositions and uses..

usually all manures are composted or let sit in the rain for a full season to get the uric acid out of it. That is what burns the plants. Don't use if fresh! ever!
