Exclamation Calling all organic growers

I would like to hear from you all about what you use in your organic grows. Feel free to include soil mixes, ferts, etc. As most already know, the Mr and I will be having a contest. He's doing the bubble bucket method, and I'm going all organic. I'm still researching and could use as much advice that you could share. Besides, I've noticed there hasn't been a lot posted in this subject area recently. So lets show the chemical people that we know our dirt!!

Hey MrsLizard....
I like maine organic soil, blood and bone meal, all added together, than a 40% mix of perlite. I also like foxfarm nutes.
Make sure you have plenty of drainage, and you'll be fine.
Peace

Drainage is big. I use cheap walmart soil and add about 30% perlite. Then Fox Farm nutes. Good ventilation is often overlooked. You can't have too much.

At the first sign of mites I use sm-90. It is a good foliar feed too.

For a little extra kick they get a dose of fish fert. I can get a gallon at Lowe's for $10. A little goes a long ways. Make sure it is emulsified so it won't burn as bad.

i use soil from my local nursery. its cheap and does the trick.
60% soil
30% perlite
10% worm castings

i add a few more things to each gallon of this mix.
1tbs per gal blood
1tbs per gal bone
1tbs per gal kelp
2tbs per gal dolomitic lime

for the kelp and lime i buy espoma products. again, cheap and effective.
if in flower i add 1 more tbs bone (2tbs per gal in flower) for the extra p. they really seem to love it.

i feed with a bubbled tea of..
1/2 molasses & 1/2 sweet, worm castings, liquid karma, super liquid seaweed plus
and for ferts i use fish poop & guano and pure blend pro with my tea.

My typical soil mix is approx. 40% Fox Farm Ocean Forest, 30% FF Light Warrior and 30% perlite, with 1 tbls of bat guano per gal, along with a bit of worm castings. It drains well, and is sufficient support for the root system.

I think Mogie has the "hot ticket", in making it light and airy, but will hold enough moisture that the plant doesn't have to starve while searching for water in the root system.

I've used the Fox Farm nutes, but since my current grow is not organic I'm using nutes from Plant Marvel.

I'm only on my 2nd soil grow, and although I've got happy plants, don't take my opinions too seriously.
