You can germinate them anytime, as long as they are mature. generally dark in color.

I have dark brown seeds falling out of some of my buds, wb. I have read that what you do is first let them dry, then give them a period of coolness, like in the frig in the dark, for about a month. Then try germinating them. My seeds are dark brown and fat. Usuaully lighter or green seeds are not fully mature yet. For some varieties it is mature, but not all.

The seeds should be dark when they come off the bud, almost falling out. so don't cut down the plant until you can pick a couple out that seem to be mature. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanx G and angel. I actually broke her as I was taking out another, but it was close to time, trich wise anyway. She is hanging in the dark recesses of the closet with all of her leaves etc still on. I would like to have these seeds for indoor use. Maybe it's shortness will pay off.

Make sure you have something under them, like a cloth or something to catch trichs and seeds while drying.
Good luck babes.
