Default warning

I hate to push this, but as spring time nears, and it is getting near. Those who have been growing can tell you, that almost every seed bank will be sold out!

I'd hate for our members to fall victim to this, so I am posting this warning, so that you will plan ahead!

You should really consider buying your seeds now, than as everone else rushes to get there seeds, and can't get them cause there sold out, you can relax and just smile.

So, your friends here ar GreenPassion are officially warning you now, get em while you can!
Peace

Thank you Video for the great advise. I think I have been eye-balling for too long....if there is ever a time to save and buy, its now.

The way I figure it is, for the price of an 1/8 I can get quality seeds and grow past that in due time, but boy will I have to stinggy and not do it as much, ahh the things I do to get my grow started...hahahaha

I'm telling ya, as soon as the last frost hits, everyone will be hitting the seedbanks, and you do not want to be one of them.....who has to settle for the leftovers.
Peace

Yup, I remember all too well the Nirvana fiasco from last year. After repeatedly ignoring my emails, it took over 2 months to get my beans and they turned out to be total shit. No more Nirvana for me.

I received my confirmation today that my new beans from a different seed bank are on their way - White Widow, Big Bud and Bubblegum. Woohoooo!

well, it actually late for buying seeds already, the best time is always the late fall as then most are stocked up to the roof and fresh - also are the temps then still far from freezing normally so your seeds won freeze to death during shipping.
if you look at rhino right now, which are about the fastest to update the stock status, they are to more then 50% sold out by now. and by mid march it won't look any better.

well what should they do - thousands of emails pouring at the same time and they are also just a few that run the business, if the stocks are low they more busy with getting new seeds then answering emails they really can't answer satisfying - ever seen at it this way?

besides, what been your new source - not that one that give you freebies of whatever or?

peace

Green, I fully appreciate their struggles and this was discussed ad nauseum at the time but don't take my money if you can't deliver within a reasonable time. Many other sites I visit will post a "Out of Stock" notice on specific strains. Why couldn't Nirvana do that? I'll tell you why - GREED. An alternative is that they could have taken a deposit - say 25% and then the remainder once they have the seeds.

Just my 2 cents.

sure, they will use the money you paid em in their cash flow - every halfways reasonable business works that way. the other thing is that nirvana deal a lot on the base of cash payments - so money send to them, and the one first to pay will also be first served, now this makes it harder to block in time the order option on the page. and last, it takes a lot work to implement an warehouse IT system, besides the money it costs, and due to nirvana size - only a few people work there, it wouldn't be cost efficient - the daily cost of those IT systems is often fully underestimated. and last they outsourced their web site, so they don't do the web mastering and i guess their web master a bit slow too.

The great thing about a free market economy is that I can take my business elsewhere. If this were a legit business, no one would tolerate being treated this way. I am not telling people never to buy from Nirvana. I'm simply relaying my experience with them. Personally, I won't buy from them again. I have heard great things about Nirvana - free gifts, free seeds, free replacement seeds for damaged/lost orders, etc.. I experienced none of those good things.
