Rep Power: 54 | | Ultimate Spot!! Grow 2009 From Start To Finish!!
What's up people this is my 1st post on this beautiful website!! haha
So this is my 1st grow ever this is what it feels like lol..
So this place that i picked is way in the woods its a wetlands no 1 will ever go there it's so well grown in we had to use satellite to find this area. The ticks get bad during the summer lol so no 1 will be tracking throu it but dumb guys like me haha.. Anyways this is my plan.. 1. Use pallets to keep the plants out of the water. 2. Use all fox farm products. 3.Solar panel to charge the batterys that I will be using to power my fish pump to water my plants and a 10 gallon jug. 4. Secure the plants so nothing can get in and eat them " chicken fence " Im now looking for seeds to buy this week.. Im from North East Region USA...
Any info On what I should do etc etc will be helpful!

i will use the pallets to keep them out of the water... It will keep my plants from getting eatin also... There is really 1 way into this spot unless you really really hike throu some ****!!! The water is about 4/6 inches deep.. I dont want root damage thus the pallets that will keep them out of the water and away from ****...
The buckets will be attached to the pallets so they cant be knocked over..
If you really think about it 2 deep cycle batterys with a lil pump and solar panel? Run time 15/20 mins 3 times a day that solar panel will charge them batterys right up and at night the thing will have to turn the timer thats it.. I will see what kinda juice the timer pulls and i'll go from there i will check that this week.. I will update this as much as I can.. If i post pic's would there be a chance of any 1 identifying? " if spelled correctly " like where this would be? There is thousands of miles of woods but...what do you think? I would LOVE to post all the pic's in the world...any info plz let me know

You'll want a mold resistant strain, I'd get a mostly sativa strain.
Dense buds are prone to mold, your humidity is going to be high all the time.

Alright Alright.. So i figured if I want good plants spend the $ on good seeds...
So I said **** it, I went and got these strains.. As stated b4 the site I posted I got Big Laughing and columbian skies... Out of each bag I will keep 2 seeds hoping once I get the females out of my indoor grow area I will grow them 4 plants stress them a little and hope for males to produce seeds.. If it works.. For the people that helped me out if I get a **** load of seeds I'll hook you up with 5 seeds from each plant... Why not help out fellow smokers =)
So Today! I ordered...
1. Seeds. -Ordered
2. Solar Panel witch puts out 5 watt's. - Ordered
3. I got my pump to water my plants - Done
4. Deep cycle batterys. - Done
Monday I will go to the hydroponics store and get some more stuff!! Pic's will follow on monday I dout you want to see batterys and a pump lol.!

Alright so I picked up 2 pump's today that I ordered.. I act got sump pumps that move 500 gallons an hour.. So they will only be ran for a short period of time.. Meaning less run time on the batterys.. Figure 8 gallons a min? They draw 2.5 amps..
So i was thinking what do you think of running 2 pumps one for fresh and 1 for food? I run each cycle back and fourth watering the plants about 4 times a day meaning 2 clean and 2 food cycles.. I figured the clean water would clear out the system of the food and not get bound up and clean the soil and then replenish the plant with clean fresh food..
There is this awesome site i found this is a soil mix they said would work well.!! Custom Organic Soil Blend
Consider using this as a starting point for creating your marijuana grow medium (soil);
50% Miracle Grow or Similar Potting Soil
20% Bat Guano - High Phosphate Fertilizer
10% Organic Seafood Fertilizer
10% Perlite - added to your potting soil
05% Sand (optional)
05% Organic Mix - roots, bark, etc.
Anymore help would be helpful Im going monday to pick up my supplys so if there is anything special i should pick up please tell me.!!

i think youve got a bigger problem than ticks my freind. you have stated that its in the middle of no where and hard to access, your talking about carrying pallets deep cell batteries hydro food solar panels chicken wire and water pumps and piping, thats alot of things to move into a hard accessable area, and a sump pump might be pump too much water not sure what size pot your using. 2.5 gallons a minute run the risk of drowning your plants, unless your using 5 gallon buckets with a good soil perilite mix and only using the pump for one minute maybe five times a day.

I'll show pics but hard to access the plants.. Its hard 2 explain. Put it this way hard to access for other people not us.. Tracking **** into the woods wont be bad at all and some work to get it going wont be hard at all.. Piping is easy and yes im using 5 gallon buckets.. There are sevral ways in but if u take this 1 way in then its a hike but we use a short cut but diff ways so we dont make a path.. I agree on the pump maybe i'll just get a diff pump to run but i'll test it and using smaller line it wont pour the water on it.. Even if u poured water like by hand ur dumpin bout a gallon within 20 sec's no??

ok so you have the hiking part down. it seems like youve got most of it together. you actually might be doing good just to run the sump pump, maybe 2-4 times a week when they are young and then moving up to once aday when they are fully mature. i think you would be better with just going with a very good soil mix instead of trying to go guerilla hydro.

I'll be bring them out to the spot i will be growing them at my house till there about a foot tall and healthy..
I dont want them to die bc of no rain this is why im doin the watering on site id rather be safe then sorry the whole watering system will be under 50 bucks..
Also onsite watering i can give it fox nuets..flowering,bloom etc etc.. If it rains i'll go and shut the pump off and go back the next day or 2 days and turn it back on.. The whole setup diggin etc etc will take about 2 hours 2 people will be doing it..
Why not have a guerilla hydro system outdoors?lol

Hey man good luck to you too, let mother nature do the work eh
As for that soil mix i aint no pro with dirt, but 20%bat guano along with a already fertilized rich soil sounds a little to much, im addin it when i see it startin flower and im goin to use miracle grow organic fruit and veg for the grow part mixed in the dirt.

Yea i could let mother nature do her work but I dont want to take that chance of getting no water to the plant for a week or couple days then trying to bring her back when I can be safe with 50 dollar watering system ya know.. The most $ i spent witch were the batterys witch I can always use for something else besides this so that was no waste..
Soil I still have to figure out.. That's what Im confused on... If anyone is good with soil that can help me out on what 2 do please chime in..
