Default Thieves strike in the night....

Well, about the grow.... nine flowering ladies including three that I used as brain food on another thread. Had about week to go on most, two on a couple others and they looked magnificent.

This close to harvest we added plot watchers. We only had 4 hours a night with nobody out and about with 24 hour coverage starting tomorrow night through harvest...

The pictured plant on my thread on severe cutting known as " Another One "
and two others were ripped off early this morning.

So now early as it might be, the plot is harvested.

Damn fine bud taken early... I HATE THIEVES!@@@@@!!!!!!!

Pete

Going out now for a bowl.....GRRRRRRRRRRRR

That is just not right Pete sorry to hear that. It seems the window of opportunity was a bit too slim to be random. They or whoever must have been watching you too.

As time has passed by I don't think of it as often but boy oh boy, I do keep my plants close to me now,, I can see out each and every window at my lovelies, I don't have much going on this year but past years I have stayed up all night week after week since I was ripped off that year.... Unhappy

Just reading the title of the thread made me mad. and I had to read your post anyway. I feel for you. I can't imagine the pain that would cause to lose a plant you worked so hard on. I think it was Jorge Cerventes that said (Don't quote me on this, & it could have been the guy from Ready Set Grow) if something like that will bother you then you shouldn't be growing. but yeah right.

I'm about ready to invest in cameras cause if I ever caught anybody in my grow area without a permit.

I'm sorry for your loss Pete.

man oh Man! I am sooo sorry Pete....wish I could help you!

I have my girls planted near my neighbors. They do not come on my property and they also have pit bulls and other bullish dogs....lots of them. So anyone comes NEAR that spot, their dogs go nuts and I am sure it would scare anyone off.

I am soo sorry. I pray you will not be dry due to this...

Peace

Baaah, i hope they get a bad trip with it!
Here's something you can do next time you plant outdoor. Get a movement sensor connect it to a cellphone, every time something moves the cellphone calls you. Also, get a baseball bat or two and start to break legs
(dont tell your friends about the movement sensor)
Hope you get better luck next time

Thanks y'all!

Just really sucks, she was just about all there so unfortunately they got a pretty good plant. They dropped one Northern Light that had only been in flower since the 20th so she was going to be the last pull. I found her and have her in a pot with lots of water and hope she survives so they got clean with two.

The only hope I have is that it is far enough along that it can be in the jar for the year's supply..

Pete

dude that hurts just to think about man invest in a rottweiler its a good deterrent for most thieves. if that doesnt work i suggest a 12 gauge with double aught (00) buck shot. (makes it harder to miss with 8 ***** the size of a 45 cal bullet) . but if that isnt your forte claymores easy to get um........

TOTALLY KIDDING but i do advocate violence vs thieves i cant stand them. you also might consider adding trip wires in 40lbs test fishing line will trip anyone up trust me on that and if you put it strategically arround the area you might make the f\/ckers trip up abit.

GL to you in the future mate.

That blows man!! Sorry to hear about your loss. It's happened to me twice, once at another property, and 3 this summer. The 3 this summer were only 2-3 ft high, silly teenagers.
I sleep right above my plants, now have Video camera's all 4 corners of the house, and an obstacle course to get to the plants. Only thing missing is a dog. If anything else happens, I'll invest in a Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
Take care of the remainder, be vigilant.
.
PS: I have Coyote Pee, and haven't quite figured out how to rig it.

i think it's built into our DNA to "Man Up" or "Woman Up", if you will when our family is threatened. And thieves do just that. It's happend twice to me and I was home alone sleeping both times. Got me a Rufus
He has a great big beautiful "Crest Smile"!

Haven't had any trouble since..

Default They returned for the stumps last night....

Damn...

We clipped the main budness out of most of the plants, left inner popcorn and lower inner branches with immature bud, plants were cut pretty good, what I left to mature was not even close to being all it could be.

Anyhow, the rat bastards returned last night and took the stumps leaving nothing but holes... immature bud and they steal it..

What a bummer, you lay traps for them and if it just happens to be LEO and he gets hurt... serious charges. You shoot them and you get arrested, baseball bat... oh well, same deal, just hope they run off if you patrol but 24 hours a day???? We tried and two other plots are untouched and I just will hope for the best.

Ya know if it was for sale and not just for the head it would be like a cost of doing business. But when you put out just over 50 starts and clones in four small areas, take out the males, lose a few to the elements, bugs and slugs take out major growth in a few, thieves grab a total of seven from all plots...

All I can say is after this I want indoor grown, less stress and more predictable results..

Thanks for all the kind words, this stuff is just awful when it happens and it happens to many of us...

Peace!

Pete

We tried and two other plots are untouched and I just will hope for the best.

Ya know if it was for sale and not just for the head it would be like a cost of doing business. But when you put out just over 50 starts and clones in four small areas, take out the males, lose a few to the elements, bugs and slugs take out major growth in a few, thieves grab a total of seven from all plots...

All I can say is after this I want indoor grown, less stress and more predictable results..

Thanks for all the kind words, this stuff is just awful when it happens and it happens to many of us...

Peace!

Pete
having gone thru this very thing twice this year, I understand how disheatening it can be. All the months of hard work, sacrifice and investment of resources and someone just takes all of it

it took weeks, months even for me to recover emotionally and I will never be the same as I was before such a traumatic event! But, I am starting to feel happier every day. There are 3 of us sharing this growing, so we shoulder up and pull each other back up on our feet

relentlessly.. Otherwise, I would never be able to go on. Be patient with yourself and listen to your inner voice. It will teach you what you need to learn from this to grow and "they" cannot defeat us, if we don't quit. As a matter of fact, this battle they won, has probably "lost" them the war..

karma is straight and true
when we stand back up
we win
