Default Small plants

This is my first grow ever.I got a late start on my plants. I planted in oct. Although I reside in south Florida, most farmers here start in oct with stawberrys. So i figured i could do that with MJ.
The plants did not get long to veg. mabe 30 days before they were starting to show thier sex. I have 2 females out of 7 plants. The only thing they are not growing very big at all is this a bad thing or can you get good shit from small plants?
I have them on fox farm big bloom they are smelling great. just small...
I dont know what strain they are i think an indica. They also dont have the iconic fan leaves. They are just popping out 3leaves per leaf. Any comments are very much welcomed..

I have seen Bigbud grow like this when its stressed, 3 bladed fan leaves..

I know many Rastas that live by the rule of small plants, They say it gives a more toxic bud cuz the plant doesn't have to work as hard to produce good bud, Unlike a huge plant..

sounds like you have what i call bloom spurts, the leaves start to grow out in 3's and even 1 blade(s) on each leaf. At this point if it started vegging again, you may see some deformed looking curly like leaves. How many hours of light a day were they getting in October? and how much now?

SoFla resident here too. If you are planting outdoors, I would recommend avoiding the summer months, when daytime temps routinely hit the upper 90s and humidity is close to 100%. Pretty much any other time of year is good to grow, ESPECIALLY in the fall and winter. Planting in Oct is a great time. If you are indoors, then it's a moot point when you plant.

We don't know what strain you are growing but I bought some Master Kush and Early Misty from Nirvana last year and they were shit - they also started automatically flowering after about 4 weeks, even in 20-6 lighting. They never got taller than about 12".

it is a bit odd to me that you been planting your seeds in october - no wonder that your babies had only 30 days of veg as the light was already set for flower.

that the only pop out 3 fingers per leaf has to do with the fact that they still another 30 days short from maturity, so as shaman i think, pointed out it is a sign of stress - here light stress as not enough light hours per day to veg.

If i would be in your situation, living in hot and sunny Florida, i would start them indoors if possible under floro tubes or CFLs, clone them and then go with clones on mother plants out in the wild around the time you started our last grow - end of sept./early oct. - maybe even earlier as they will need at least 8 weeks to flower.

The amount of day light i belive was fine. It was over 12. The plants were eatin back in Jan by some vermen. I have new one that are doing way beter then my first batch. Besides it was my first grow ever and i was hoping to do a little F'in up.

My plants now just started to go in to flower. They are outside And donin great.. I have learned alot from this site. My first gow looked like ass, i hope the bunny got stoned. I think #2 looks way better they are some nasty sunky funky bagseed. The three new girls are a dark green color. They are in some organic compost I have them on a Fox Farm diet with some Alaska morbloom. I have been feeding them from the begining Molassis. sounds cazy but i wanted to try it out they dont seem to not like it. These plants also Have the full 7 finger fan leaves. I have been giving them some root stimulator to increase root mass. They are getting rather tall harder to hide from the nabors.

I hope to bring my grows indoors in the near future. It is that you can grow all year here in Fl. so i thought i would give it a shot.
