....... has the perfect PH.
at least here it does, so my guess is it must not fluctuate THAT much between regions.
this is new to me, for i just found this out today.
i collected a bit of rain water this morning, which is very rare in southern cali.
anyways, just for the hell of it i tested the PH.....
.......5.7
seriously!
i hope this helps someone, STAY GREEN! | | The Following User Says Thank You to deep[H2O]culture For This Useful Post: | |

I believe there might also be another benefit to rainwater and that it is ionized, almost alive.
Near my veggie garden out back I keep a small barrel to collect the rain.
A beneficial way to water young seedlings is to collect weeping willow branches, cut them up and put them in the bottom of the barrel to steep and make a tea. Something in the willow branches make young roots explode their growth. After the plants get established, empty out the barrel and just use regular rain.

The Ph of rain water verys from place to place.North of you in seattle wash. the rain is 7.2.The rain water that comes off the coast has a higher salt content. That is the storm from over the ocean. There's acid rain in some of the northern states. And around here it's at 7.9 to 8.0.I'am curious to know what the PPM'S is of rain water from around the states and ca?
