Hey all. I've been thinking of simply walking out into the woods behind my home and planting some Cannabis seeds. I'm not entirely sure if I'll ever return to the to collect any herb, I might, I might not. Just not sure yet. I just want the plants to grow. I wont bother to maintain them as I just want Mother Nature to take Her course.

I have some simple questions I hope to have answered. =)

When should I go to the woods and plant my seeds, what time or year?
What kind of light will the plants need? It is a forest.. not a deep, thick forest but still, we're talking trees here.

How deep should I put the seeds into the Earth?

Is there anything specific that I should avoid or look for when it comes down to a location for planting them?

And whatever else advice that you can give me would be helpful. Thanks! <3

Hi Loreena, here is a link that could help you with these questions, outdoor grow guide When to plant all depends on were you live and it's year round weather, I plant the seeds a half inch deep maybe a slight bit more, The plants like full sun, they will grow with less sun but it won't be as healthy and produce as much. And another thing you have to watch out for is the wild animals, some of them love to eat the plant and also certain bugs and slugs,,, but with all of that said, If you are not going to watch them throughout their growth, there are some that can very well make it,, If you have some bag seed I would say go for it and see what happens,, Do go to that link and read,, if you have anymore questions do ask,,,,,
