Default The Red Girl is striking

You said Northern Flame eh? Seed Bank? When did the leaves turn red? I am curious of the yield also. If the leaves turn red during the vege cycle, I could put one in a phototron and grow as a ornamental. Good job. These are the ones you were worried about a couple of weeks ago?

My outside clones are not as far along so I still might bring them in. We will see what happens. We have had several nights of colder weather, frost in some areas. In the forest the plants seem more protected from frost than in the open, so they have a shot. Hopefully I can keep them going at least to the end of sept. Keep your fingers and toes crossed! The red one is called Northern Flame, a Canadian variety. very interesting colour. My camera is acting up so sorry about the quality of the some of the shots.

Thanks for posting that sweetie. Beautiful! Shows what a shitty year it has been as mine is nothing like that one. I have a clone coming along for a bonsai mum and another I am planning to flower soon so we will see how it grows!

And I got mine from the Vancouver Seed Bank. See if you can find it anywhere else as I know they will not export them.

Peace

Wink

Here are some pics of the outside clones I planted July 6th. Hopefully we will have enough sun to harvest these buds here. This is not all of them as my damn camera ran out of power in the middle. sorry they are not the best shots but it was dusk when I took them. I lightened them as much as I could. Check out the second last pic! No idea what that red thing is in the pic. It is in the wild and no red cords anywhere near it. Methinks it is a ganja spirit!

Also, take a look at the last shot. These red and green bugs are flying around many of them. I think they are just partieing! If anyone knows what they are and if I should do something about them, please let me know. Thank you.

Peace

Hey Jangel lookin good.
The second last pic with that red thingy , could possibly a strand of your hair.
The last pick of the bugs, yes I have seen them, I pick 1 or 2 off jainy every day and squish them dead. They are like a grasshopper and will chew the crap out of your plants. You gotta get rid of them some how. Soon.

nice pics jangle, those buds are looking very very good. i don't know what kind of bug those are although they do look like a cricket or grasshopper type. doesn't seem like they are trashing there area it just looks like they tried to start a smoke circle but got too stoned and stopped halfway through.

Mine don't have red on their wings but look exactly like those. I differ from ms.wind, as I do not think they do any harm. I have had them from day one. Never looked them up because I see no harm done. Of course for some reason I have no problems with any kind of bug.
I think you will be able to get some kind of harvest from your girls. The weather is turning bad here too, and I must cover mine soon, like as soon as it dries out.

One thing I foregot to mention: These bugs are like a 1/4 to a 1'/2 inch long, not big at all. The pic is blown up. They all fly off as soon as they are disturbed and there is no damage to any leaves or buds.
