Default moth / caterpillar prevent

Ok, Im new here but I thought I would throw this in for what its worth, I HATE caterpillars!!! Sarted finding them a month ago. Spayed with "safer caterpillar killer " it worked great but the freekin moths keep coming around. This is an outdoor grow. Anyways, the caterpillars are gone but the moths keep landing on the plants. Ive found that checking every top of bud with microscope is the way to go, I will find a single yellowish egg and get it the hell out of there with my tweezers before it hatchs. It really works, It just takes a little time for aprox 50 tops per plant, But I find its worth the time to do that. The buds are looking nice. I'm posting this little pvc structure I put together and placed it over a couple younger plants that the moths hav'nt gotten to Its the way to go & next grow I'm going to have every plant under some kind of structure like this one.

Just go to any home builders store and pick up some white pvc pipe, couple fittings. The mosquito net at most any sport / camping store.
I just made the PVC to match the size of the netting! its pretty easy to do. Anyway the Two plants are looking untouched and No More Caterpillars!!!!

I hope I'm posting this in the right place? If not , Sorry, I am a big newbie here Hope this helps a few of you. This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 600x598.

I would use my finger but these little moth eggs are so tiny, they are about a tenth of the size of the end of tweezers! I cant make them out very good without microscope! And my big fingers wont get in there to get them Any ways Im hopeing to get the new covered structure built soon. Then no worries of moths. Hope the pics might help someone with the same prob.

Welcome to GreenPassion! I am going to copy this post to the DIY growing on the cheap forum as well. Very ingenious!

We have other PVC grow structures in there as well. Take a look! You could find something else that could help you.

Nice to have you here and those are gorgeous plants! Good for you!

The plants are clones of Bubba Kush 10 gallon pots.(maybe too big?) I'm not too proud of the soil after reading up on others. Got MC and added vermiculite. Iguana grow / Iguana Bloom,Voodoo juice for Nutes and roots, at different times of course. Will be giving a little bud boost in the near future with ( Advance nutrients Big Bud ) I just make sure I don't over water, over feed, and always keeping eye on PH & EC. The others have done well with same set up. Plants are healthy and I'm not sure why people say MC is not good, But next Grow ill try something different. Just to experiment Do you have any recomendations? The pics I've uploaded to my 1rst outdoor grow Album has all been grown with this set up.

Milk spray is more for fungases and mold. Not really affective for bugs.
