Default Just West of Northeast Ganja Heaven

Just had to IPiT, I'm not feeling coming up with a title myself, so I just stole yours!

Sooo, I'm that guy, and this is my 3rd year growing OD. Both of the previous 2 years I grew in containers in swamps.

This year I got outta the swamp, but kept the containers. I've got 9 plants in 30 gal camo bags (8 of which are 2 to a bag. Was 10 plants, but 1 died), and another 14 in 3 gal bags. The 3 gal bag plants were seeds I popped in he end of May, I'm mainly looking for new moms and a dad or 2.

In the big bags I've got:
Lemon Godzilla (Godbud x Legends Ultimate Indica)
GDPxLUI
Skunk Chunk (Deep Chunk x Sensi SK#1)
Sensi Star x SK#1
Great White Shark ( Possibly, I lost track of the labels on the cuts and there are a couple of plants I don't recognize, and I haven't flowered any of the GWS yet)

Skunk Chunks

GDPxLUI

Sensi Star x SK#1 OR GWS, not sure yet.

Lemon Godzilla & GDPxLUI

SSxSK#1 OR GWS & Skunk Chunk

And the seedlings I planted. They are:
End Early ( a creation of IPiT's, High End x Biddy Early - Thanks bro!)
Deep Chunk
Deep Blue (DC x DJ's Blueberry)
G13 ( by CH9 )
Durban Poison (bagseed)

Kinda don't know what most of 'em are, I transplanted 'em in the dark :(

But I do know these!

G13

Deep Blue. This poor thing I'm afraid was being cooked from the sun beating down on the black bag. Moved it into a bunch of birch trying to grow back, so hopefully being in the shade will start doing it some good, this thing id the ugliest plant I've ever grown!

I'm pretty sure these are either DC or other Deep Blues, the leaves have a similar look to the Skunk Chunks.

And the ones I'm pretty sure are End Early
A wicked early boy, I'm hoping to get some cuts to survive if not I'm definitely collecting some pollen!

And the questionable ones.

Almost couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this one was still alive!

Well, that's all for now! Any questions, feel free to fire away!

All the best,
TG

VERY Nice! What do you see as the advantage growing in the bags over planting in the ground? It would definatly be eaisier on my old body! Digging holes in a field an carting dirt in is very hard work for a small lady.

Thanks for the kind words, all!

Sorry I disappeared, I had a crappy couple of weeks. My cat got run over and killed right in front of my house, and then my ID crop starts molding!!!

Needless to say I wasn't in the mood for much of anything.

Going back out there tomorrow, so more pics soon!

jangel, I decided on bags since my OD grow was up in the air until the last minute, and the soil around here has a pH of around 5. So I figured that the best way to get a guaranteed big yield outta them was to control the medium.

Pros: Total control over medium (ie nutes, areation/water retention, and pH), safety from slugs and many other animals, and ease of setup.

Cons: watering always becomes an issue ( the bigger the plant gets, the more frequently it needs water, which can become an issue if it doesn't rain for a while.), and it raises the plant up to 2 1/2 ft above ground level ( makes plants stick out over stuff real quick)

That's pretty much how I see it. Easier to set up, but harder to maintain.

All the best,
TG
