I planted 15 plants outside. I pulled 4 males. misplaced 6 of them because they are all scattered out. but I had 2 in a real good spot next to eachother and somebody ran across them. I don't know how because its nowhere near anything. Somebody must have just been in the area and smelled it and looked until they found something. luckly thats all they found. but it still hurts. I have no idea who it could be because nobody knew about these. But I'm going to do my best to not let it get to me. its a part of life and maybe it was karma that stole them from me. I'm not perfect and maybe this was just a sign from above? I don't know. I do want to thank the staff from this site though. I feel like I have a family here and I've learned to stay calm and be an adult about things.

Thank you Jangel. I know there have been a lot of threads about thief's. I felt I should go ahead and let people know they're still out there and not to let your guard down. Unfortunately I can't. I'm miles away from mine and I can't afford a camera and I'm not going to set any traps because I don't want to hurt anybody. well I do but I know better.

How far along are they? I would count on the weed bandits coming back if I were you and would yank what you have so you don't lose out completely. I know this might sound extreme but if they come back and find your girls you'll be screwed. Greed has a way of motivating lazy people.

I agree, They are totally spread out through out almost a square mile. but the smell is still out there and i know that can bring them back. its just really surprising to me that it was possible to stumble across these. there is no easy way to this place and there is no reason for anybody to be there. traveling scouting or anything. I'm almost nervous to go back. I can't explain to much about where they are but there is very limited access. I'm not even supposed to be there.

Since that period I just typed I did some thinking. Hunting season just started here. I guess some hunter is hunting on the same restricted land I'm growing on?
Should I be scared to retrieve whats left of my plants?

You should be careful going out there. If it is a "restricted area" of sorts then any hunter would be as illegal perhaps as what you are. As a side note if there is a hunter and he believes they are alone out there they may be firing without knowing anyone else could be in their line of fire? Can you get there at nightfall? Or the crack of dawn?

Lucky brought up some good points. Also, if you made it out there then someone else could also. I doubt if it is law enforcement but if you go back make sure you pick an odd time of the day or evening. If it was me (thinking like a crook) I would go back. Knowing I scored once would be enough justification to go back.

that's the only time I usually go. except last time. I could be in their line of fire but they would know I was coming and I would know if they were there because you can only get there one way. but if he was there with no evidence of transportation than he'd still hear me and freak out but hopefully know better than to shoot me. I'll post on here before I go and when I get back so you know if I made it back.

If I looked at that from the thief's eyes I would be back next year same bat time same bat channel. Your spot is compromised I'd say. But how much worse then any other random spot that might get happened on again? Who knows that.

It sucks but cut your losses get what you can out of this year then try again next wherever. I wish you the best without this crap happening to anyone.
