Default '10 Grow, Guerilla Northeast Region

Whats poppin folks, im kinda new to the site but not new to botany. This year (Well, next year technically i guess) will be my first outdoors grow operation. Ive done indoors many times since i was about 12 with CFLs' and got excellent results every time.

This year will mark my first go at growing the ganj outside, ive had gardens my entire life so im not a newbie when it comes to most plants, and im especialy good with tomatoes wich ive learned from literally splicing a tomato and weed plant together about 5 years ago that they are essentially the same species of plant. (Got good flowers from both tomato and green side of the plant).

My first question actually is, in '10 i am planning on dumping about 2000 plants around the northeast region. Mostly bagseed from lbs of good midgrade ****, some higher grade **** here and there but idk i mixed all the seeds up a long time ago lol. Anyway, ive had GREAT success with germing the seeds before planting however this was indoors, in a nice controlled enviroment. Im not sure about popping 100-200 seeds at a time and then transporting em through woods and poppin em in the ground. I was thinking about just sticking em in the dirt unpopped and throwing like a small metal screen over the whole operation so no birds get at it.

Im just lookin for some advice from the outdoors ppl on what they do initially.

personally i am not an outdoor guy. but a simple thing that could help is to simply stick all the seeds in a bucket of water for 24 hours before planting. i usually put my seeds in water for 24 hours and then put in medium. just a quick pointer that is fairly simple with alot of seeds. good luck cant wait to see how it goes!

This year in these parts I'd bet that the slugs would have wiped you out down to the last seedling. They might be slow, but they're very determined. Consider some kind of protection from them.
