i bought three clones, grew them out to clone them and discovered that two of the clones were male. the place i got them from gave me two more cuttings but i've spent a month of electricity on these and i'm wondering if there is any reason i should try to save them, or should i just chop them up and move on. thanks.

You can dry them and use them for bubble hash or for making canna butter with. it will work! They do have trichs on them.

Grow them out to just before the male flowers start to open. Then I'd kill the plants, but save out one branch from each and put them in vases of water (well away from the female). Harvest a little pollen. Fertilize two branches of your female plant with a paintbrush and you have some free seeds for your next grow.

The male plants can be dried, blenderized and put into brownies- won't be as potent as female bud, but you'll get a buzz.

Male is also good to cut your bud with when you are low on stash. It is healthier than using tobacco and adds a bit of THC.

Last possibility, is to dry it and use it when your mooching friend (we all got one) comes over.

I would say you want your money back and go somewhere else next time.
NO place should be taking advantage of customers like that if its knowingly. If they don't know they are selling male clones then you should say something... Unless you bought a male clone on mistake...

Sorry man... That stinks.. I dump all males myself though... One day I will cook like these other chefs but alas I kill mine off... lo.gif

thanks guys. to be honest, i thought replacing my two males with two other cuttings wasn't very fair. i invested a lot of energy and money in these plants and they were super healthy, green and lush and then two turned out to be male. i'm not going to get clones from this place any more; they don't take care of them very well at all, but they do give me good deals when i need straight medication. they ended up giving me two LA Confidential clones and two really bad looking sensi star clones that were nearly dead. i'm sure i can bring them back but i don't know if they will produce good mother plants in the long run. my understanding with LA Confidential is that it produces good meds at a low volume. thanks for the help.
