Ooooppps
I have recently supercropped my ladies and all look good, however I managed to snap one of them when I banged my leg against the lady.
A week has passed and all but the one lady are developing nicely. She has not grown very much since the supercrop/snap and is around 8" shorter than her sisters.
What should I do? Cut the branch off.

looks as if she's still trying to get to the light, but she's wasting a TON of her energy trying to heal and not being able to close the gap.
You should have (next time, if) used some sort of splint, to tape the break back together. Just like a broken bone, it will heal itself and while it may suffer a small setback, it can recovery and still produce.
If that's not an option or it's too late... take it off. again, it's using a ton of it's energy trying to heal, rather than putting that same energy into growth.

I have done that many times. they do heal amazingly. Try electrical tape. it works a charm and also comes off easily. You could still try taping it together, it will work or it won't but at least it will have a chance. The branch is still alive so don't give up yet. Check out the link in my signature "LST'ing with hardware" There is tons in there by all different members on supercropping, Low stress training and all sorts of things.
Let us know how it goes.
One thing: If you do use tape to mend it, make sure you take it off after it has healed as it will cut right through the stalk as it grows and eventually kill the branch.
peace

It will shock the plant and yes, new growth could appear from lower down. It might kille it, and it might hermie.
What else you can do if you wish to try is to cut the branch off with a sharp razor blade. Then cut the other end of the stem to match. Then put both ends together the same way they would of grown and the plant will most likely heal itself that way. It will be like a graft. In this case, I would also use a splint to support it.
Peace

The sisters ( Cali Orange ) are all in flowering, the tape has helped straighten the little lady. She looks as though she will pull through.
Can I still clone the top during flowering ? I cloned them before the flowering.

It depends how far into flowering they are. In the first couple of weeks, usually not a problem. After that, it will be dicey. I have tried. Make sure there are no pistols on the plant as this will cause mold.
Good luck.

So is the branch healing up or have things taken a turn for the worst?

The healing process is stagnant. It looks as though all the energy going into the healing has stunted the growth of the main Cola.
The tape has made little difference and I now have a huge decision to make. Yubitsume.

Here is what has happened in a week.
The centre branch of the plant has shown little growth, compared to its sisters. The energy being used to heal the break has destroyed the node, but has allowed the side branches to develop normal.
Here I have no choice left, either I leave it alone. OR cut it off.
Please help me decide. CUT or LEAVE ?
If I cut it off, can I then use the removed branch for clones ?
There are some small flowers on the branch, is it to late to use for clones?

I think it looks pretty much healed. If you think it is hurting it cut it off. I just think you should hold tight and see what happens. If you look at a grow thread by a new member, he takes an axe to his plants and they pay it back big time! I think you should just wait....it might just really surprise you. I will find the thread and come back and post it.
Peace

LOL! It is the same theory as supercropping. What happens is that all the energy goes to the wounded area, then it gets better. But all that energy is still going there so it goes PAST that point and induces bigger buds, as it is desperate to make sure it survives and reproduces. So it does!

Could this Anarcist Gardening technique be used to create Bonsi plants with huge buds?
I would love to see a 3ft tall plant with monster bud. Maybe I will experiment on a couple of my POG.
Which one would be best to use ? 15" or 19",
The 15" girl has short compact characteristics and more nodes. 19" is stretched with less nodes.
I am very serious about snapping the plant at the bottom, just to see if Anarcist Gardening can work indoors.

Rather than snap it, just cut it, and don't overdo it. It is one thing with a well established plant. I would talk to "steve" more about this first....
You don't want to kill it.
