Rep Power: 214 | | Soil vs Hydro: What's the verdict?
Ok, I know it's an old debate, but let's see if we can settle it here.
What is your own opinion?
I have yet to do a soil grow on my own, so I can't give an opinion, ironically. :,)

ISO | I completely understand. I try not to spoil myself. If you pace things....You have something to look forward to in the future. Strong....but not so strong that nothing will ever compete w/it again. |

I have trichs on my BIGGEST fan leaves in hydro, I haven't seen this yet in soil.

My area is famous for it's outdoor cannibus weather (Tiller Killer). The best stuff around here is grown outdoors. For me this is when I do my big grow. Cheap (free light, nature provides gentle breezes, etc.). With an breakdown my estimate is right at $20 an ounce grown this way. Not bad and I have some killer medicine too.

I have never tried hydro, except for some clones that I rooted in a diy mister, once. I then put them in soil. Someday, when the wife mellows, I will try hydro,...and soil again, for that matter.
I voted for soil, just 'cause.

i grow soil and will always do so it's far easier and cheaper and never have to worry about those freak power outages that happen from time to time at the worst posable times. plus then theres i've never tasted a hydro plant that tasted half as good as an organicly grown plant no mater how much it's flushed

This is only a opinion.Hydro grows the fastest and for indoors bigger.Hydro can be adjusted and the resolutes seen in shorter time{good or bad}.Soil is slower and adjustments in soil are slower, longer times in finishing.Adjusting PH in hydro is easyer to me then soil and less work.I like hydro the best, but I do grow one or two in soil too. Also keep mother plants in soil, easyer to maintain health for longer times. For me Hydro. PEACE
