hello...
i started a thread for my cab an to record my 2nd grow atteptbut it was deleted during the site change so im reposting it an talk about the improvements and new purchases ive made,....
heres the cab without the door and final coat of shiny black paint which ivedun already,,,,

i will take new pics as soon as i get batteries,, lol thought i had sum ....
here ismy first box.... My lil knoledge gave me males than heremies until i figured out i need to block the light from leaking through the vent holes,,,, dumb dumb...

THE CAB IS NOW IN ITS NEW HOME IN MY BR ATTHE FOOT OF MY BED.. HEHE NICE AN SHINY AN DOORD UP!!
WENT TO THE LOCAL HYDRO STORE TODAY AN PURCHASED A NICE SQUIREL FAN/ BLOWER FOR MY EXAUST AND SUM DUCTING..
SO NOW I JUS NEED TO INSTALL THE EXAUST, WIRE MY 3 SOCKET LIGHT FICTURE W/ MY Y CONNECTORS, AND WEATHER STRIP DOORS AND DO FINAL LIGHT CHECKS AN WHATNOT AN IM READY TO GERM,,,

I ALSO HAD SUM BOMB HEADIES UNKNOWN STRAIN BUT A$$KICKIN AND IACTUALLY FOUND A NICE PLUMPSEED!! HAHA,,, AND I HAVEA BAG OF ABOUT 20 MIXED HEADIEZ(WHAT WE CALL TOP GRADE STUFF, KUSH, JACK, DIESEL,) SO IM READY,, THAN WHEN I GET COMFY IM DEF GOIN TO HGS FOR THAT PURPLE DZ AN I THINK THE OTHER IS BLACK QUEEN,,, MMMMMMMMMMM.....

doesanybody know if its ok to wire alight ficture with aregular lampcord??

The new cab look gr8t you did a wonderful job on it. What most folks use with wiring is a good quality extension cord and some male plugs added. Make sure you use a heavy enough gauge for the wire to be safe.

Good luck with the grow and keep us posted with the pics of the babies.

ahhhh... good thank u ... i gta do thattomorrow an getweatherstrip an intall exaust an intake ducts ani think ill be set.. anysuggestions..??

Hi Ominous,

Looking good bro, I see what you mean about your cab being similar to mine. Mine is also in my bedroom which makes noise more of an issue what with intake, exhaust and two oscillating fans, I've done done what I can to keep it quiet but there's always a humming, fortunately it doesn't keep me awake though. Is your exhaust fan going to be mounted inside your cab? also what height have you got in there?
Looking forward to to seeing it up & running...

awesome yea im not sure but i think ima mount it inside blowing up an out the outake hole w a box on top to blow through an later trya diy carbon filter.. my height is 4 1/2 ft.... do u think its quieter to mount inside or out??

2 cfl light fictures,, the 3 socket one i found in the garage,,,
and the 4 socket i bought today for $13 .. and i bought 2 lamp chords and wired them up, tested em as well an there all good...

and last but certainly not least,, IVE FOUND A MONSTER!!

HAHAA .. I FOUND THIS CFL AT HOME DEPOT ABOUT AS BIG AS FROM MY ELBOW TO MY WRIST!! THIS THING IS A MONSTER!!
i think it was around $14 but ive never seen anything thatbig,,, checkit out an let me know what u think........???? it plugs in a regular socket but i couldnteven look in its direction when i turned it on,, hehe..

Good scrounging! Way ta go! And that thing is huge! Good for flowering it says. 2700k is flower spectrum.

yea i was wondering if anybody else has seen or used anything like this before.. and if there good maybe i can use a couple of these im not sure yet how or where im gna pu an use it,, but im almostready.. got the blower mounted gta dosum detail work to close in all in as my hole was
7 1/2 x 7 1/2 almost ready..

Hey man I got to tell you that cab looks pro! Like a nice piece of furniture way to go. Gr8t shopping trip with all the goodies I can tell you are stoked with this set up and so should you be!

I can't wait till it's turned on and pumping out some nice bud for your friend. Keep it going you are almost there.

lol,,, thank u.. i put alotta thought into it ... shes almost ready,,

ill be using flora grow for veg but is there anything anybody can suggest i should add or think about before i start germin??
