i can only say the obvious,maybe it needs nitrogen........but im only a seedling ;)

new growth need Nitrogen and when the newest leaves are yellow it can be a nitrogen difficiency...if you pH is ok and other things like temp then some worm castings or other high N amenities could be the ticket IMO

wait for others to weigh in on this .... some very good diagnostitions on this site

Did you feed a few days before you topped her?When you take clones feed a day or two before and the same with topping.Just be sure that all is right before you top or clone,The PH,PPM,air movement,exhaust,and intaken are all good and you should be fine.Peace
