Default Pine boy's first cabinet.

My wife gave me her old wardrobe to grow in instead of outside.First attempt ,I went with what I knew(very lil).I killed all my clones from last year and the remaining seed stock I had.
With a bit of help from you guys,Things are great so far.I made a bunch of errors but I think I'm on track.I will subscribe to K.I.S.S.Water when dry and food every 2 weeks or so.
Once I got paint inside the cabinet,I put some seedlings in that sprouted around the 20th of feb. They lived but wernt growing and got a lil yellow.so I feed them after a couple of weeks and they started to look alive but still werent growing. So I transplanted into one gallon coffe jugs, with fresh new dirt (M.G.organic) and feed them some more and they took off.I dont fore see any problems as long as I dont burn em with chemicals or we get alot of super warm days before I place an a.c. unit near em.
The pic in the middle was taken 3 days before the other two.and my babies have almost doubled in the past 3 days.
Thanks for the help peops... y'all are good

Hey pineboy,
I don't think they are going to need any nutes for a couple of weeks. They should get what they need from the soil, as it is. And be careful with the watering. Those are big containers for such small plants, it can be very easy to overwater. Good luck with this grow.

Just remember that the MG Organic still has small amounts of organic nutrients in it, so you don't want to be adding your own nutes until later in the grow... I made the mistake of adding my own and the bottom leaves on all of my plants died... luckily I corrected on my next waterings and they're fine now but still was a surprise to me...

MG Organic definitely kicked some ass for starting my sprouts though, sounds like it did the same for you!

those seedlings look really stretched though, you may want to bury them up to the leaves with more dirt in bigger pots and make sure the lights are right on them... and once again, no nutes for the first two weeks at least... prolly longer with the MG Organic...

but otherwise looks great, I'll keep track of this grow as it resembles mine.... lol

Few questions - what spectrum and wattage are your light and what do you have set up in the way of ventilation in there? Just want to make sure you're on the right track...

Looking good, Pine. Make sure you have a fan blowing over the top. It helps with the heat and circulates the air. More importantly, it will help your seedlings develop stronger roots. Make sure it's not blowing too hard, though, or you could cause them to dehydrate or fall over from the force. Good luck.

Good looking set-up there, Pine. I see you have an exhaust outlet. What type of fan are you using to exhaust the air and where are you venting to? The lights look fine for now but with that big fan in here, you are quickly going to run out of room, especially wtih 5 plants. You'll have to decide within the next couple of weeks which ones you want to keep. That space definitely won't handle 5 plants. Unless you are doing a SOG.

Yessir,I do have light leaks. At the doors as well as at the fans and air inlets.I was thinking about flex duct to seal the fan holes .I really dont want to restrict the air going out of the cabinet. It vents right into the room behind the box

H.M.N., the fans are 4" coputer fans from Radio Shack. One blow In ,the other blows out.

Babies are doing well.Growing real fast now but I noticed lil flies today.I water with rainwater from a bucket that sits for a while.I'm guessing thats where the bugs come from?Problem?Would I do well using only fresh water ,like 1 day old or something?I was thinking that catching rainwater would be better for them than declorinated tap water.
More pics around wensday...
