Default over crowding

I have ten plants started and in the third week of veg. I am using a 250 metal halide light and will need more light when I flower. The reason I started so many plants was due to my last grow where I started nine plants and ended up with only two girls. I have no idea what sex these plants will be, the breeder claims they will be girls CH9 Female cannabis seeds feminised cannabis seeds, CH9 Female seeds Official Website ! The size of my room is 38 inches wide and 60 inches deep and 84 inches high.

I have a t5 fixture with four four foot tubes and would like to use this with the 250 hid light. The problem is that the t5's would block the hid light. I want to hang the t5 vertically to add supplemental lighting. Would this work ? I am growing in soil so the plants can be moved daily All suggestion are welcome.

What I post is only a joke and not the truth!

Post up some pics joe. How long will you be vegging? Are you flowering in that space too? What light will you flower with?

You could put it on the side and rotate them. How big are they now?

The plants are about 6 to 8 inches high and three weeks old today. I was planning on vegging for 5 weeks and then flowering with a 250 hps bulb. I was also thinking about doing a sea of green and switching to the 12 hour light cycle now. I just re potted them into 8 inch round pots and fit under a 3 x 3 foot area which are the limits of coverage for a 250 watt bulb. As I mention my last grow where I started with 9 fem seeds and ended up with only two girls. This grow the fem seeds are from a different seed bank and hope to have all girls!

When I started growing I used t5's and switched to hid lighting for the second grow. That's why I have the t5's and would like to use them without buying more lights. I will try to get some pics today.

I decide to use three 40 watt 2700k cfl's on a light bar and two more 40 watt 2700k cfl's that have there own reflectors. These can easily be added to the room. Getting the four foot t5's in the room would be a tight fit.
I just tend to buy too much stuff it's all trial and error. But I am learning and the dollars I saved from buying mj, more than offset my mistakes. Green passion has been a big help and want to thank ever one for there help and the wiliness to share there experiences.
