Default new grow room/box please help

hey all im about to build/order all my stuff for my grow op but i just wanted some last minute advice...

let me just describe my set up real fast to give u a better idea....

its in a back room of my basement 2 concret walls 2 wooden, and no matter what summer or winter it is usualy very cold so i dont know if heat will be an issue seeing as im only ganna have 1 600w but ill let u guys decide....

in the room im going 2 build a 5ft wide by 9ft tall and 7ft long.. just incase someone happens 2 wonder around and just 2 controll environment eazier

i decided im going 2 just build 1 4x4 planting box instead of 5 individual 5gallon buckets and plant them like the 5 on a dice

and here is a list of my supplies

-Lumatek 600W 120/240V Digital Ballast
-600 Watt EYE Hortilux Super HPS
-Adjust-A-Wing Large- with Cord
-foxfarm line of nutirents
-Foxfarm Ocean Forest Organic Potting Soil
-mylar

this is my 2ed grow .. my 1st one went amazing only used some t5's and foxfarm soil/nutrients so cant wait 2 see how this goes...

also my real only question is what size fans do i need(my room is 315cfm) i was thinking of a 6'' 440cfm fan for my intake and a 465cfm for my outake... i figured more was better but i wasnt 2 sure if that was sure ....

and also i dont know how much bigger or smaller the inline/outake fan should be from eachother and witch one should be bigger or smaller

sorry for the long post bust this is ganna cost me almost 2k and i dont wanna f it up

i made a picture on paint just to give a better visual...

also im putting my intake low near the plants and my outake on the other side of the plants at the top of the room....

also i have it so my carbon filter is infront of the fan sucking air out of the room.. should it be behind it?

and also i decided im going to use a 1000w after watching some videos... am i going 2 need more cooling becuz i hear these cause alot of heat

Well my thoughts are if it's in a basement the insulation might be pretty good and you may not have to supplement the heat. The 600watt might do pretty good. Only thing that might kill you is your ventilation. If you suck in more cool air then the light can keep up with then you might have to run a heater. I have a huge fan the sucks way too much air out then I need to suck out. The solution was to put a timer on the fan. The fan comes on for only about a minute every 10 minutes or so. Whatever I want to dile it in. It also helps control humidity too. If you reduce the amount of fresh air intake, make sure to have oscillating fans on your plants to keep pushing the CO2 in the air over your plants. If the air is too stagnant then your plants won't get enough CO2. So bring enough air in to keep your plants happy but try not to bring too much in that makes it difficult to keep your temps up.

My problem with a 600watt light is heat. My room is well insulated so I have an air-conditioner plugged into a cooling thermostat to keep the temperature from getting above 85 degrees.

I guess you mean the air travels through the filter before going through the fan. Not a big deal... it'll restrict the efficiency of the fan some... but it will also keep a lot of dust out of your fan, thereby lasting longer.

The 1000watter may heat your room more ,but the 600watter may have done just fine for a 4x4 area. But for sure the 1000 watter will give you a better yield. You may want to run a separate fan for cooling the 1000watter if you have a cool tube or enclosed light fixture. If you cool the light you can get it a bit closer to your plants increasing the effective range of your light, which can increase your yield a bit more. You can isolate the cooling fan having it's own intake and outtake so that it doesn't interfere with the grow room environment air flow. I've discovered with my 600watter it doesn't get hot enough to be that dangerous to the plants and so I use just the one fan for both ventilation and cooling. Since my fan only comes on for a brief moment it doesn't do much cooling, but I've noticed no ill effects with this practice yet. I've been through a complete flowering cycle with it this way and I'm more than half way through the second.

im 100% going with the 1000w... imo money isnt a option when it comes 2 my grow op and i know that the 1000w will give me alot more on the yeild....

and i was reading about these reflectors Sun Systems - - The Adjust-A-Wings® original design combines cutting edge science with biologic

and i heard alot of good stuff but do u think it would be smarter to use a air cooled hood since it is a 1000w and not that big of a room

seeing as this is my 2ed grow im trying 2 keep it sorta basic but if this goes well and maby 1 more small grow im going 2 set up a nice complex automated system with mothers/clones, veg, and flower rooms with co2 and all the goodies...

also im the type of person who would rather grow 10 plants and get 10 pounds then 40 plants and get 10 pounds..... so i guess what im trying 2 say is their anything else i can do 2 make my plant produce crazy amounts of nuggs... like super croping or do i just let my plants veg for a longer time? .. my goal for this is 2 get 3oz a plant
