Welcome.

Read, read, read. Check the youtube vids that are out there....

You left a lot of open ends on your questions. I'll give you a few ideas to spurn a bit of thought....but the possibilities are endless (or incredibly finite) depending on how much money you have to put this room together.

In general..you'll need 50 watts per sq ft for bloom and you can go higher if you install enough ventilation.

6 x 6 = 36 sq ft. x 50 watts per sq ft. would mean that you will need a total of 1800 watts to go with "wall-to-wall" lighting in that space.

Ventilation- L x w x H = cu ft. To exchange the air once every 3 minutes multiply that # by 3. This is the cfm of fan you will need to cool/ventilate the space.

What strain are you running? Seeds or clones?

Will you grow in soil or hydro? What medium?

Which nutrients will you use?

Set up the space with your lighting and ventilation and dial it in BEFORE you try to put plants in there. You need to do a day or two of test runs to be sure you have the right climate for healthy plant growth.

More details will get you more specific answers.

1000 watts will cover approx 20 sq ft with ample light for cannabis to flower profusely. No, it isn't too big. As stated in my earlier post, you would need more than 1000 watts to cover your 6 x 6" area sufficiently for good bud development.

20 sq ft is a large enough area for 7 plants but you will have to flower early if they have any sativa in 'em at all. With an indica strain, 7 plants in that size area flowered at 12" will make a full canopy (SOG).

Get the space set up BEFORE you plant the plants. That way you can work on getting the ventilation/temps right without risking your plant stock in the process.

pics are helpful if you need specific guidance.

good luck

Howdy, Mass,
1000 watts covers approx 4x4' area, 1 600w covers approx 3x3', 2 600w will cover 3x6' area, etc. GL HH
