Thanks!!!! | I'm doing a sneak bud right now, preheat oven to 190, put a small bud in a pie tin and leave it there for about 15 min max, let stand for an hour and smoke her.
Best to leave over night for a more natural dry, but hey it's not waiting 6 weeks natural dry in the jar. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Lumix For This Useful Post: | |

Do you have a microwave? If so, give this a try..
Take a small tupperware style container, and line the bottom with a piece of dry paper towel. Then, cut your bud into pieces, put in the tub and cover the top of the tub with a damp (not dripping) paper towel that hangs over a the edges a bit. Put the lid on snugly and so it is tipped open at one corner, for steam to escape.
Set the micro to 40% power, and for 1 minute.
Then, take it out and let the bud breathe. If the inside towel is damp, replace it. If the buds are not sufficiently dry (don't get them crumbling..LOL) then repeat for maybe 30 seconds. Let air dry for 5 min and they are ready to go.
Best method I ever used for a quick dry..

ISO | I'll have to try that and immediately after there done, I'll have to see what the trichoms look like.
What do the trichoms look like after you cook them? |

Thanks Lumix!!!! I enjoyed my "Fruits" early this morning and they were great!!!! They were ten time better this afternoon. There was one thing I noticed, there was a grassy smell/flavor. But there wasn't any after taste.
I was/am very please right now!!
Thanks again Lumix!! |

I'm of the philosophy that the fastest you should ever dry your buds (as a quick dry approach, and I don't recommend this if you don't have to) is to hang them in a room with low humidity (<40%) and a high temp (>85F). This can dry them in about 24-36 hours. Never take them temp past the 90s. Unless you have a condition that is so detrimental you can not go 24 hours without, you should consider this. I keep around a stockpile of edibles for such occasions, so that I can just do edibles for a few days and get something of a decent dry.

you dont want to dry cannabis fast. unless its the 'while you wait for the main stash to dry and cure' stash. and even for this i begin to think its best to water cure and dry to take out the harshness of the smoke...

The meds need to have a VERY high resin content to make this desirable. When you water cure you flush out all the terpenes, flavinoids...etc...leaving just plant matter and trichomes. So if the trichome content isn't high enough, it tastes like you're smoking bark.
If the trichome content is high enough, it resembles hash. I've water cured several different strains and that has been my experience with it.

ISO | OK so I tried your method and RRRRR it's a winner!
I had more control of it and set it at 40% for 1 minute, perfect.
Included is a close up of the intact trichomes.
I shared my way and others found it helpful and you where helpful to me in sharing yours, I received a present surprise back.
Thanks
P.S.
I found wrapping the inner bud paper towel into a fluffy ball and tune it upside down to hold it there and the damp one above..... perfect
Of course jar bud kicks
O also, this bud past away right after the photo shoot.
