Default My First Stealth Grow (NEED FEEDBACK PLS)

I am trying to plan my first indoor grow on a tight budget. The problem is I dont have the resources to do a mh or hps grow so i am forced to use cfl's. My main question here is do you guys think this is worth it. I am going to be replicating the stealth growbox found at this link

DIY stealth Rubbermaid growbox

the only difference is that i am going to be using 6 42watt 2700k bulbs rather than 26watts.

I have no exp growing with any types of lights, but i am looking to grow for more of a learning exp rather than to see if i can get a big yield. My main question is, Is this worth trying or will I just come away with a very low amount of buds that are not pleasurable to smoke?

whats up homefries, if you wanna check out my journal im using 6 23 watt cfl's in a little bit bigger of a space than you'd have in the rubbermaid box and mine are doing fine if you ask me. just click the link in my signature and judge for yourself whether or not you think cfl's are worth it. i think they are 100% worth every penny i spent on them IMHO

P.S. im just one of plenty here that use them with a smile.

dear homefries, I get great (though not that big) buds with cfl...the potency was superior to most steet bud by far...just make sure you have enough CFL's ....people on this very site have had great results in multiple grows...many of which are posted in the CFL club

good luck and be patient. As for using the 40watts, mine kept burning out. I have 23watters which i used longer and are still brighter than the bigger bulbs. If i spent the same amount of money on smaller cfls like the bigger ones. i'd have enough for two sepearate grows.
Lighting position is the most important. no more than 3in from the plant. If you got a little burnt leaves its cool, just don't burn the bud until you're smoking it.
