So Help Us Help You. | Yes from seed, indoor - hydro, temp about 75 and yes stretching I guess, it's my first time so I don't really know. I do know that stretching would be due to light being to far away but I think the light is ok like. | | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to Pigwink For This Useful Post: | |

Try putting your hand where the light is. Just at the spot where it is warm, not hot, is where the plants should be. Try propping them up with sticks or tooth pics. It happens. I am sure Hatch will advise you well once you add more details.
Peace

Do You Have A Fan, Lightly Blowing Across The Top's Of Them??,,This Will Help Strengthen The Stem.
& Like My Lady Has Said You Can Stack & Tie Them To Help Give Them A Chance.
If You Have CFL's, They Can Be Within 2" To 3" From The Top's Of The Plant's.

Yes, the light needs to be closer. Also, you can add some pebbles higher on them, or bury them deeper once they get older. In soil, I plant them right up to the water leaves when they need potting up. In hydro, I think you just have to try and stake them up more.
Good luck!

Ya, They Are Just Searching For The Light, Bring It Down To About 6" Above Them, Let Them Get Used To The Light, Watch Them To Make Sure They Don't Stress, If They Are OKay With It After A Bit You Can Lower It A-Little More, If They Look Like They Can't Handle It Raise It A-Bit. Quote: |
. Yea I have a fan heater.
| ??? , You Might Want To Get A Better Fan, That Doesn't Have To Blow Through The Heating Cores???
