Okay I've been doing alot of reading regarding molasses use. I personally never have used it but intend to on my current grow. Doing seaches turns up alot of info, but it is fairly mixed as to "how" individuals use it. I see some who use it on seedlings and thoughout the entire grow. Others use it through the entire flowering cycle and it seems most use it the last few weeks of flower.
If possible I would like to hear your opinions of the pros/cons of each method used. I am just entering flowering so I won't be using it on seedlings but am trying to decide whether to use the entire flowering or just the last couple weeks.
Thanks in advance.

The HOW is not the important part.... Lets chat about Molassis... To a plant it contains micronutrients, sugar, and a few other ingredients that will assist in your plant's overall needs and also for you in that it sweetens the smoke. It is totally up to you when you wish or want to use it. Just watch your plant when using it and you'll see for yourself, she will love it.

I'm not a rich person to use it all through the grow, so the last 2 weeks, I put 2 table spoons per gallon of water in my DWC tubs for that sweet taste. I dont regret it on spot.
Luck and life

Hey Maximummax,I take one gal of nutr or water. With water I put a qt in the micowave and heat it up.I add one tablespoon of molasses to the hot water and mix well. Then add it to the gal of water and let it cool to room temps and then use it.Now with adding it to nutr mix you do it alittle different,Take a qt of the water out and do the same as above, but dont put it in the gal .Mix your nutr first and then you add it to the mix. This way you dont heat the nutr up and that may change them if to hot. There's a picse wrote by THE THREE BRIDS on the good and bad of molasses.Do a web serach and find it.It's a good read too. That's my 2 pennys. Peace

We've used it in all our grows since reading about it early on. This year we decided to neglect using it and compare taste and appearance. I'm thinking it is too expensive to justify the minimal benefits. We've noticed a thickness to the smoke I don't think will be present with the end product not using it.

the reasons for it: molasses is high in N so a plant tonic in late flower and also high in Mg, the sugars in it are a buster in all stages and truly kick in the afterburner on buds along with some P source.
Somehow is molasses effecting the intake of the roots, it seems like the plants can drive in a slightly higher EC then usual (especially with picky Haze strains and similar it is a nice additional buffer to lower stress)
my personal experiences with molasses varies by the grow method it been employed in. In hydro it can be quite problematic as it can plug pumps and nuzzles up, in minimal dosing this might cause to no problems at all but also no big effect either (rather look here into monosaccharides).
A small tsp per 2-3 gallon is in a DWC okay along with some H2O2 as it it won't cause the water to turn gluey then, in my E&F system it just caused me nightmares as it plugged my pumps as well as growing media - but i used also like Tsp per gallon of water....
Different story at soil, i feed it from seedling stage to flush starting at 1 tsp per gallon in veg to 2 Tsp in peak flower and 1 Tsp in the second week of flush.

You folks have been great! Based on info here and what I've read I plan on using molasses throughout flowering.
One more question, do you all stop at flush (final couple weeks) or do you go right to the end?
Again thanks to all that responded.

unless its an extremly dry summer i dont even water them. at transplant into the ground they get soaked with a mild nute watering. if youve prepped your plot right youll have ammended what was needed already(this varies by your location)
where i grow ig mostly old growth pine...the forrest floor is basically a huge compost pile of pine needles and various organic debris. i only need to add lime to my soil to bring down ph......the plot is good for its life provided every other factor jives as well.
