Question How do I seal my door in a stealthy way?

Hey guys and gals, how is everyone?
I haven't been around, I apologize, I've been busy getting our new home settled. As a bonus, I've been able to start a small personal grow that I hope will be successful. I'll do a thread on that soon.
Right now, though, I need a little bit of help. I am doing a small closet grow, just enough room for a couple of DWC's, and is perfect except for one thing.
Light escapes(and enters, presumably) from under the door about a 1/4 in, and a little on the bottom portion of the door as well.
My question is, how can I 'seal' it, or make it to where this doesn't happen?
I can think of some ideas, but stealth is a concern, obviously. That is what has me stuck. I can't for the life of me figure out how to make this happen.
So I am turning to you guys for some help.
Thanks in advance for your help guys.

Cheers

They do make adjustable door jams. Where the height is adjustable.
Hope this helps.
Peace

A simple easy fix could be putting a small peice of rubber attached to the door hanging down just a bit . I did this on my grow room years back , still there still working just attach anything to it cardboard , blueboard, thin wood anything really works . Get creative you can make it work.

Try a piece of garage door gasket(black rubber used on bottom edge)
If it's rubbing carpet I would suggest using an adjustable front door sweep
(it nails to the bottom 1" of inside of door)use sticky foam tape to seal around door jamb. All this can be found at most hardware/WALMART stores

Good luck

I use a door swep at the bottom , foam weatherstrip on all both sides and top,and i cut a 4" strip of 1/8" ply and put it around the top and opening side of door, on the inside (as it opens) knob side. This stops almost all light.

For a temprorary solution I use hi mil contractor garbage bags,(home depot) cut open and taped to the inside of the frame. I over lap them for no light leaks and use a bit of red tuck tape as an attachement. Also to tape it back when you go in. If you have it a bit longer on the inside and make it fold to the inside it blocks the bottom light as well. Made it pitch dark in my closet for setting the plants to flower. Also use it on the outside of my flower room for now, to block light leaks. and makes a quick fix, cheap and cheerful until you can do something more permenent. Also, panda film, white one side and black the other, works well, with the white on the inside to reflect the light. Hydro stores have this or it is available on line.

LOL! when I kicked my ex husband out I got him a matched set of luggege. You guessed it, a whole box of 15 large contractors garbage bags! I know, what a bitch ehh? You would have to know the whole story to understand that truely I was being kind and he should of gotten nothing. ...and gone to jail as well....

Peace

Any hardware store will carry some sort of self adhesive foam for around the door frame and for the bottom you can by a rubber strip that will attach to the bottom of the door that usually has a metal strip on one side to enable screw attachment. Probably cost you <$20.

wow, thanks guys!
I was thinking along the lines of a weatherstrip, but the carpet was throwing me off, lol.
I'll put up a pic shortly so you'll see what i mean.
Another thing I cant sort out, is how to hide the drop cord running to the closet.
I know that you guys with a lot of experience get tired of helping out with the same questions, but i appreciate the help.
