Default Homemade CO2

I might have asked this in the wrong place before, so Ill ask again. Can I use molassas as a sugar source for a yeast and sugar co2 generator?

I do believe some rum has molasses as an ingredient and it is fermented. So long as there is sugar it should ferment fine.

it would work as well as molasses is a byproduct in the sugar refinery - but the draw back is that it doesn't hold as much carbons as refined sugar does and it is not as solvable in water as it is more then just sugar. also, 10lb sugar goes for 5-10 bucks, 10lb molasses if you buy it in a shop as everyone else will cost more then that - so you might be losing using molasses for CO2 production.

Green I bought the molasas cause
i read (on another site) it was good for flowering. Alot of people here advise against that, so I didnt want to waste it. I just was wondering if it would work. I figyred it would ,cause it is a sugar. Just wanted to see what the pros do. (They probley dont mess with fermentation, just get a tank)

molasses is great if have a soil grow and i use it a lot on soil, tablespoon full on a gallon is a good mix but i used already more - biggest problem is that hard to desolve in water, but if you use some warm water to desolve the molasses in first it is no big trouble anymore.

the negative info comes mainly from noobs that go with a watered down molasses bought for too much money as special carbon fertilizer (guess they been mad about their own stupidity and want to talk it bad now for everyone) or by people that didn't switch on their brains in the morning and glued up their hydro units with molasses despite been told not to do so as it plug rockwool, expanded clay and pumps in no time - so don't give too much on such talk

Thats what Ive read. Clogs up everything, so I have no use for it in the home, thought it might work for co2. Im just going to get the right stuff. Tired of making mistakes, and wasting money (that I dont have).
