Rep Power: 31 | | Hermies?!? now what...
i've had some trouble with my timers and access to my room so my plants have had a little less light as far as length of time and one day, i just had to put them in the natural sun. they are mother plants that i'm hoping to clone in a few days when i finally finish the changes to my closet. i'm scared that these plants have gone hermie because i don't think i've seen this type of growth before. they definitely noticed the light change but there was nothing i could do other than use natural light until things got fixed. it was only for three days but i guess that made a huge difference. is there anything i can do now with these plants, if they are in fact hermies? sorry about the focus, my camera sucks. thanks.

if the plant hermies, you will see small yellow hermaphroditic flowers which look like small bananas, most often forming at the base of a node. Pull them off. Inspect each node daily. My guess is you don't see any. If you do start seeing a whole lot and you can't keep up, your options are grow up seeded plants or cut them down. I doubt it comes to that, just keep and eye on them, even if they do herm you should be able to keep up with it.

How old are your plants...?
Are they from seed or clones...?
The reason I ask the 2 above questions is.... Sex has not been determined yet..?
The first pic looks like it is a boy.

All 3 look like they have turned :(
If you don't have a girl to pollinate that sux.
If you do have a girl and DON"T want to pollinate,
kill them now. You WILL NOT be able to keep up
with plucking off the male parts.
I had ONE go on me and couldn't keep up with it.
The more I plucked, the faster they grew :(

yes, sorry, that first one is definatly a boy. They look awfully young to have already showed sex. Unless they are clones, then that means yes, hermies.
Sorry buddy.

these are all female clones. all the clones that i got together from the same place all have hermied, if that's what's happened. as i said earlier, i had some disturbance with my light schedule and the hours got cut by a few or they had to spend the day in normal daylight in my bedroom, but i was hoping that now that they are back on schedule they would go back to veg. any chance i can pinch the hermie branches and leave any that don't show? should i go back and talk to the dispensary or is it my fault that they turned out male or hermie. thanks.

I have had one hermie on me, picked the nads off and kept an eye on her, and she did not produce more. She flowered well, and yeilded well as well.
The one the cuts came from should be fine. What is the genus? Yes, I would discuss with the dispensery, your hermie problem. I don't know that they should of done that so quickly. I have heard of people TRYING to hermie a plant, and it took a LOT! If that hermied so eaislily, I would say the plant is subject to it.
What kind is it?

Now also tell me if they have pistols as well. If there are no pistols and JUST nads, you have male clones, not hermies.
