Rep Power: 460 | | GP #2 project - second indoor grow
now for my second go at this.
400w HPS
1 fan
1 cab
2 afghan females
1 male GP #2 project (miss saigon x indica)
1 female GP #2 project
soil and some organic nutrients for flowering.
my objectives here are seeds and seed diversity for the next stage of the GP PROJECT. (as more or less established in another of my threads).
but that will be next year and i should have a whole field to play at mother nature. so i will then breed only what i feel is worth it. for now its genetic diversity.
this is fun cause its all luck. and all the different phenos i should get, and tastes and smells. though i am pointing in a certain direction, this part is really fun. i mix things around and adding flavours, shapes, and basically all the ingredients i need, more of this, less of that.. that sort of thing. i am a bit sad i dont think i will be able to back cross with the original mother plant. but i have genetics thats close enough. so no real harm done.
only in the next stage will i simmer the results and start narrowing down the breeding partners looking for certain traits. and adjustin the results in acordance to what i want for her. to do so i have spread some of the genetics around the place, there by incorporating other peoples grows into my project, thereby multipling my working space and the possibilities on the genetic level.
hopefully there will result some interesting crosses from the miss saigon thats out there.
anyway hpe you like it all. after all its for you. i will be going about it from half a world away. so the bud results may not be the greatest, but like i said i do want the seeds, but i will pay attention to results also.
i will be after a decent miss GP#2 x afghan. and a miss GP#2 x GP#2
the #2 variant of the GP project is a mostly indica cross. but hopefully i will maintain some of the mango freshness from the vietnamese side of the family and the large buds.
now dont be alarmed, they look very crappy, but, thats due to heat stress as i have been a bad dad for the last week or so. its been hell trying to get my passport, but now its all good. i installed a fan and tomorrow it goes on. i rose the light and now they are growing and pushing like they should. but they still look a bit maltreated, the will be fine.
its GP#2 female in the front
2 afghans in the back.
the GP #2 male is outside on the balcony.

they dont look bad at all Ileso, My T44s I started in soil and txfered to hydro were in much worse looking shape, It took them a month to start growing again. But they lived. Being the Master you are, this, I'm sure will be childs play for you. Luck, even tho you wont need it.

um... yeh
this is just a small part of a larger project i am working on a strain to dedicate to the site. this is the #2 variation or branch of the project. its number 2 because its the one where i introduced indica genetics into the sativa bloodline.
the #1 is on hold and is so far purely sativa.
i have no official name for it yet. there are alot of suggestions though if you care to look at the first link under the tree in my signature thats the thread where i lay out the guidelines for this venture.
i wanted to keep one purely sativa, and another mix in indicA To lower the flowering time...
cheers
ileso

the next part of the show is wher i get all the seeds produced in this batch grow em in the country somewhere. and thats where the work really begins.. trash the ones i dont like, the weeklings and the late flowering ones. and start breeding the ones i like best, taste better smell better and have just the right buzz and that I feel are better adapted to the growing conditions i want (outdoor). etc etc... it'll take a few generations till i get what i'm after. and then i'll name it..
then i'l try em indoor and see..
lots of work in this mate... i should be getting payed for it, heheheh

i was wondering if you here having me on, hehehe
wierd to see someone growing for seeds huh?
these are already 50/50 sativa indica. but as you can see its in no way stable yet. so i'm inbreeding the two 'saigon' x 'mystery indica' as well as with 'afghan#1'.
the 'afghan'X'saigon'X'mystery indica' will be put on hold for later.
its a bit messy i know. but i'm keeping a log of whats happening. i hope in the future to be able to set up seperate rooms for all the different breeding experiments etc. but well, i havent the space yet.

yeah i can fully understand all that, i love to breed, but im still a very amateur breeder, and merely an adequate grower. so i look forward to watching this, and i cant wait till i get a place with a basement.,
