| I have a 6 foot tall plant and i am hoping it will start to bud soon. my friend said it will flower no matter how much sun or darkness it gets. Since the summer days are starting to get shortner should i just leave the plant in my room next to the window, or should i put it somewere will it will get complete darkness? ![]() | ||||||||

| It should. How healthy is it and how far apart are the nodes? How old is it? Sometimes a plant that is kind of held without the right light will live but not sure if it will bud. It should. I know I had a plant in a pot (pot plant) and I had that thing for over a year. I was about 20 then. Long time ago. It lived and never flowered. Maybe 18 to 24 inches tall. Still smoked the leaves though. It just never got big and finally croaked. I know now i didn't treat it right. Live and learn!!! As pappy says, it is a weed!

| An autoflowering strain would never make it to 6 feet. Normal marijuana plants flower when the light cycle hits close to a 12/12 cycle. I am assuming this plant is getting more than 12 hours of sunlight a day. You could create a "cover" to force the plant into flowering. I've seen people adapt trashcans and what not to force flower. Just get some ventilation like from a PC fan or something. If you live in the states, and are relying on natural sunlight, it could take until oct to finish thru nature. Peace ![]() Quote:
