Air sanitizer? I would use it outside the space but not on the plant....nothing on the plant but plant stuff.

why in the same room? thats basically spraying the plant and no matter how much you spray the room is still going to stink as long as there are plants in there.
maybe try another means of odor control...carbon filter if you have the $ for it or make one, or get some kind of nonspray odor absorber, or simple plug-ins could work.
goodluck

goodluck | I agree, that is why I said to spray it outside the room. There are many ideas for cheap odour control here. Take a walk through DIY~growing on the cheap to see many different ideas.
Anything you spray into the air will land on your plants and will be eventually ingested by you. If you have no problem eating something, then go for it. Otherwise, no.
Peace

I just started looking into carbon filters....may be a minute until I get some $. How affective are they? Can they just be sitting on the ground?
Thanks

What is your air system? Do you have an exhaust fan? I made my carbon filter for under 10 bucks. I will find the post and give you a link. It can be a cheap fix. If you are willing to try. I have had mine in for more than a year, and just replenished it recently. It is working for me!
