| I have 40 plants that i cant handle watering everyday and i was hopeing that someone here might have an idea on how to build a inexpensive drip system or a once a day top feed i,m on a budget so i dont want anything to fancy , I was thinking of using a 2.5 gallon pail with 1/2" pvc pipe hooked to the bottom and have about 8 plastic valves inserted in to the pvc pipe, the valves are to balance the water flow to 8 plants ,inturn i would have to build 5 of these ,and i would make the pail interchangeable, also i want to use scrog so watering buy hand is way to hard .. basically i would fill the pail, let it water the first 8 plants then move the pail over to the next pipe and repeat this for all 5 pipes . by doing it this way it would cost me 40 valves .75ea= 30$ 6 8' 1/2" pvc pipes 3$ea=18$ 6 elbows .50ea=3$ 6 end capps .50ea=3$ pvc cement 4$ so thats 54$ but i still need to figure out a way to mount all this in my grow room i,m guessing about another 20$ another way i was thinking was putting 2 rubbermaid under bed storage bins and just pouring the water into them each day and letting the plants take the water when ever they need it ,this way would cost me about 40$ but i dont know if its a good idea to have 20 plants all sucking water from the bottom of the pots would some absorb more nutes than others . so if anyone has a cheaper and easier way that i can do this or any advice on ways to make my ideas work better | ||||||||

| I found some inexpensive (relatively) drip systems at a walmart super store. It was around $20 and was designed to water hanging plants, potted plants, etc on a porch area. I think there was enough to do 10 -15 plants, but you could buy additional pieces. I have it, but have not used it yet. I like to have stuff.. in the event I need it. I am seeking help for my condition. GG
