filtered --
we need more info here:
how big is your room -- how many plants do you have
that will help decide how large a carbon filter you need.
In my set up the filter ducts out to an aluminum chimney so that it releases on the roof.
That still doesn't get all the stink out. I suggest purchasing an ozone filter like from ecoquest, or another quality ozone machine.

okay chiefa, lets calculate: 16sq ft as base and 8ft height? that would be about 128 cu ft then - the exhaust is strong enough for you room therefore. if you add a carbon filter that is bought and not from the DIY section here it has a rating and this should be about 15% more then your vents rating leaving you with the need for a 197 cfm filter.

if possible fit the exhaust pipe to your chimney and ventilated it out at roof level - not too many folks crawling on your roof, eh?
