hello all,

first i would like to say that this site keeps getting better and better...really!

i took a little leave of absence, but im back at it of course (have not been too successful yet....but determined to get it right!).

I have been through 2 cycles...neither of the two came close to my expectations which makes me feel like i still am not even close to fully understanding this great hobby.

As of now, i am just waiting a couple more days for my clones to finish rooting before they go into the ebb n flow trays under the 1000 w HPS. Ill post some pic's later today to show you all the changes i have made in my set up (hopefully for the best). Also ill be posting a pic of my reflector for my HPS which i feel like i desperately need to air cool, but im not totally sure how i should go about it.

it's good to be back at it! ill go through the run down of my room conditions, system, and set up when i can get some new pic's up later today.

Of course my friend, pic's will be up in a matter of hours just need to get off my lazy bum and go get some new batteries for camera.

I am hoping to fully succeed with flying colors (literally!)

. I am in full stride this time around....the babies only need a few more days to finish rooting and then we can get this party started@!

finally! got the new digi cam...very happy with it. will take some time to figure out all the things i can do with it but for now i just started snappin! here is an update...my Ice mom is under a 1000 watt MH all alone flowering..the rest is under my 1000w HPS that is air cooled and on a track. things are looking very nice...starting to smell so lovely too! im excited for the weeks to come. the Ice mom seems like it is a week ahead of all the others...i think this is because she vegged for 3 months and was fully mature before she started flowering. the others are lagging a little behind her but all in all they are looking sweeeeeeeet. i started adding a carbo loader yesterday...i will keep up with it til the 7th week of flowering when i will then flush with pH balanced water for the last 2 weeks. let me know what you guys think. i will work on the quality of the pictures maybe some of you camera wizz's out there can help me learn a thing or two! thanks guys.

the first three pic's are of the ICE mom that i decided to flower...she is massive. i tied her down in different directions to contain her from getting burned and also to allow a lot more light to penetrate her insides...she is loving life i must say. the 4th and 5th pic's are are of the B52's...they somehow got taller than the ice girls! dont know how because these babies were supposed to stay shorted. pic's 8 and 9 are of the ice girls.

That Ice plant is one big Gal!! Damn...it would take me all day, literally, to harvest that monster!

Looks like a few 2x4's will be needed to prop up those side limbs...be careful they don't break on ya.

Have you conisidered changing that 1000 MH to an HPS? That plant wil flower much better under the HPS, and with one like that you want all she has to give!

I grew one monster, and that was almost too much..LOL. 9 oz. (small for some plants I hear) was enough.

All of 'em look great.....nice job!

Thank you ISO...yes she is huge and developing bud sites very, very nicely...i can not wait another 7 weeks for them to finish! it's going to be long and hard

Your gonna hve to wait.I know what you mean tho I didnt even look in this morn becouse its driving me crazy.My jar is empty and I have 4 monster cola's stinkin up the house that I cant touch.

i hear you man...i have a solid 7 weeks left add another week at the least to dry and then curing will take more time...but im thinking 8 more weeks til i will have somethin to hold me over. thank you though, that Ice mom is my pride and joy...if i didnt have a fire inspection in aug i would have kept her going longer but im glad she is in the flower room.

What do you guys think about flowering under MH...i know HPS is better for overall flower production but will the MH do a good job as well?

Hobo lol im glad you approve man....i dont know how she got so big! but damn i gota say she is one big lady. all stretched out she is 46 inches wide by 43 inches long! taking up all the space under this 1000w MH i cast wait to get some good product off this crop...it will be my first fully successful one! im about to pop my harvest cherry....only another 7 weeks

heres some pic's from yesterday i snapped and forgot to upload...BTW i have been messing with my new camera and reading the manual. this thing is awesome guys...no joke. best $160 i ever spent.....when i went into circuit city the price tag said 199.99 and i was a little bummed but was ready to spend it...so i ended up having to wait about an hour at the store before i could purchase because one of the employee's took the key home with him so i had to wait for him to come unlock all the camera's. anyway while i was waiting the manager came up and told me he was sorry and what not and looked up the price on their website and it was marked down to 149.99. on top of that for making me wait they threw in a free 2 GB SD card!!! sick right?

so it ended up only costing me 160 total and the 2 GB memory card should be able to hold up to 500 pic's and video! im real happy about my new toy! cant wait to play with it some more when my girls wake up! for all you picture whores out there like myself, stay tuned! i will be posting pic's on the regular.

BTW...i tried to count all the huge tops on my Ice mom thats flowering.....i counted about 21 soon to be huge cola's! possibly more...gunna be a good one guys! couldnt have done it without all you good people of GP. you are all much appreciated by myself. i dont think i would be where i am now if i didnt learn about GP. Thanks to all of you mod's out there and every other member and guest who pitched in their 2 cents to all my threads and comments.

One little trick with that camera is put it on "fine" setting. You will not get as many pics but the clarity and the sharpness will increase. They look sick,Ice in a good way!

Jangel thanks for that tip..im learning a bunch from the manual already. this camera is really somethin. so many different settings...the zoom is crazy good, i was just toking and am about to go mess around with it some more..soon i will make those 1st pictures i put up look like are from a disposable camera!
