Default Ain't she a bit young for this?

Got an odd situation I've never run into before...and it makes no sense at all to me. Seems the only female Purple Willie I had has gone into flower..way too early!

Odd thing is, she has been under 20 hrs. of 6500k T-5 since she was hatched...so are these just pre-flowers? Plant is quite healthy, and the only nutes she has had is 1-1/2 ml of parts A&B of the GreenLightnin Grow. Measured at 9" tall this morning.

She is from an F1 seed that is a cross of a Sweet Willie (F) and a Grape Ape (M), and I've never had a plant pre-flower to this extent...

Any ideas? I really wanted a few clones off this gal, but if she's dead set on flowering, now, I have little choice but to stick her in the flower room and let her have her way..

I had a snowberry (blueberry knockoff) girl do this once, it also turned purple in warm weather...never figured it out, I put her outside and she reverted to veg and lost her color.

why not take a couple of clones off her to see if it is a stable trait or an environmental effect....heck if she is good quality...you could end up with a valuable mutation on your hands Iso..I guess my thought would be to get the clones and let her go do her thing

A little ruderalis in the mix maybe?
ISO, you can take cutting and try to root them now under 24 hours of light. Clones that are flowering before rooting have a tendency to branch VERY hard after they're turned and rooted. Amazingly so...

Thanks all...

SB, I agree, but there is nothing there to clone right now except for the top...and I really don't want to hack that off at this point.

I think I'll leave her in veg another week and see what she does. Might even see if I can get her out on the back deck (with some hardening, of course) and let her see what the real sun is like.., then flower her out.
