Im new to this and want to give it a try. Q#1 both systems use the rocks it looks like write to grow. the aerojet sprays the roots but how does the aeroflo2 water the plants ? how big of plants can i grow in each system 2-4 ft hopefully. Im doing this becouse i want to grow them fast and healthy and i know this takes knowledge and time, but this is a better result than dirt this is why i am doing this. Could one say for in house gardening either of these systems are going to forsure out do my dirt growing? From the reading it looks like they forsure will. Your input here everyone is great.

I have owned and operated an aeroflo system. They work wonderful. Inside the big tube is about a 3/4 quarter tube attached to the top inside of the tube. All this has are small holes drilled in the bottom pointing down. Now there are a few inches of water in the large tube and the water pumped thru the littler hose squirts out the hole and makes the water below "boil" really infusing all the oxygen into the water. Now while all this is great this is an expensive product to purchase.

Yes all decent hydro will out produce dirt in quantity and a little time. Time cause they gro faster fron being fed ALL day so they achieve their desired indoor heighth quicker hence 12/12 sooner.

So I would suggest building your own smaller setup(s) with totes or bigger with various designed homemade systems.

search homemade hydro and also you tube has lots.

personally i retired my aeroflo for easier low maintenence systems like dwc's and I love the things you can do with upside down pop bottles & pvc. The lids fit into 1/2 inch fittings.
